I have learn a lot and i was exposed to finance section
• Monitoring and clearance of Revenue related suspense accounts: Bank Exception, Bank Adjustment, Receipts Control Account, Receipts Deposit Control Account, Unallocated Receipt, and Receipt pending Account. • Capturing receipts and payments on BAS • Compiling and capturing journals on BAS • Monitoring banking of revenue collected • Filing and safe keeping of documents and the face value vouchers (Receipt book and Deposit book)
Pros: If it was for a contract to get to end i was gona put finance section on another level

Great challenge
I am currently working on a very big project with the department of home affairs. The project is very interesting and one gets to be exposed into working hand in hand with the management from the department. It is a big learning curve on the operation of the industry. I have built a very good relationship with the management from the original offices and communication has grown tremendously. There's different sectors within the department and different information that can be attained for the project. Conducting meeting with the department speeds up the process on acquiring the information and some of data is required by the project . Members within the department are very informative and willing to assist at any given time. Time can only be a challenge when arranging meetings with members of the department.
Pros: The work is very challenging and very informative

My background and experience enable me to interface with all staholder.
I am interested in working in diverse area of business mainly to broaden my experience and also be able to have an understanding of variours aspect of the business. My interest has always been to manage a multi-disciplinary team to achieve maximum. i am motivated to achieve at the highest level in any field and does not shy away from any challenges and responsibility. i am keen in working into business development, managing, organizing, desiplinary, investigation, planing, forensic investigation and comercial investigation and analysts any position position offering good transition. my approach to life, education and career has been integrated to enable me to achieve my goal. my background and experience enable me to interface with all staholder.

My work history
The job I like the most is to sourcing the quotation and sending the RFQ to the suppliers making some follow-up and reminding them with date line of quotation. Inter relationship with business unit helping them to understand their needs and with compliance of quotation and make relationship with suppliers and business unit to get better items of negotiating the price especially those are more than R100 000 and above. The most challenging aspects is when the suppliers fail to deliver in time or not deliver at all because I will be accountable and have to act as a middle man to protect the business unit and the suppliers trying to get the reason why not delivery takes place. And sometimes the suppliers didn't give the business unit the quality that was expected I learn so much were by the suppliers before delivery we may ask to give us a samples example if the supplier should deliver the chairs, we need to see the quality of the chair before delivery

I work for department of home affairs under EOH Learnership
my daily duties is filing , documents submission, receiving calls and responding emails . Relationship with collugues is nice to work with them because they always happy no personal jokes and always focuses on their daily jobs. I enjoy everything all about my daily job and working with people who always happy.

I am always prepared to learn more.
A typical work on daily basis hectic. have a good relationship with co-workers. Throughout my working experiences I have learned a lot how to handle different challenges in the work place, how to approaches my fellow colleagues and how to finalize operational targets. Dealing with internal as well as external clients.

Excellent learning Curve
My day at Department of Home Affairs prepares me to a greater journey, dealing with professional and skilled coworkers. Its been a greater experience of a lifetime, I have learned the importance of knowing the nature of the business no matter what your job title might be. When I am at the work station before I resove the Revenue, Journals, Reconciliation, Receipts, Bank Exceptions I must apply the Batho Pele principle at all times.

Cons: At the moment the department department can't afford to hire new Staff.

Communication skills
The work I'm doing is to allow and refuse entry, if passengers meet the immigration requirements we do allow entry if not it is a refusal. We go according the laws and regulations of the immigration acts. Team work I'm good with it share views with my colleagues. I've learned to be patient and have an understanding, since people we are not the same with different characters. I enjoy when we cracked a difficult case with my colleagues working together as a team. Most challenging things is the system of our government.
