Great exposure to the corporate world.
A typical day would include checking emails for statements and invoices sent by the supplier .I worked very well with my co-workers as we were a team of great individuals who put the supplier first. I have learnt that you need to be tough in the accounts department as suppliers may take advantage of your kindness. What I enjoyed most at work was working with different kinds of people which exposes one to dealing with problems in different ways depending on the person you are dealing with.

High computer skills
I was great to be exposed to the field of work because I was learning different things that are based on technology I am a vibrant person who posse’s interest in learning new things as the technology is improving day by day with the integration of the knowledge that I have gained at the institute during the studying period. I am observant, co-operative, have good communication skills, able to work with a team and independently with minimal supervision, always adhering to instruction and company rules and regulations, always punctual with time, always like to keep the workplace (tools, equipment and machine) used neat as this can minimize accidents/any hazards and prolongs tools life span, and finishing the given task within the specified frame. Learning facilitator
I am currently working as a learning facilitater (lecturer) lecturing construction management. I find it more interesting due to the fact that I studied the course as well, for my qualification and not only that but I have also acquired a lot of working experience from the industry before I joined the institution which makes it a lot more easier to relate the theory to practical.
Pros: I normally do my own evaluation through the response of my clients. That then helps me to find other means and ways of improving.
Cons: The actual working hours are determined by the nature of job. If can't work long hours then could consider taking work home and finish it later otherwise it makes me feel good to leave my office with all that I planned for the day complete.

Great experience
everyday felt like a new challenge I loved that. everyone was friendly and welcoming of which made it more easy for me to interact with everyone. my job is very challenging especially when we have to deliver the bad news to the students with regards to their assessment results for our program but despite all that I really enjoyed being useful & helpful to everyone.

My current role
My current role as a Cost Analyst has been eye opening for me. It moved me from a accounting focused profile to a capacity where I am able to view the organisation in its entirety. I am able to interact with both the academic and non academic sectors. Understand operations in other key areas. Participating departmental strategic plans to presenting financial models to non-financial Managers / Deans and Directors. Through these interactions I am able to learn and view departments not just from a financial view but also as a strategic component of the University.

Excellent learning curve
Being a tutor is the best thing to do especially for any inspired Engineer. I was exploring every perspective of the Electricain. I gained experience in PCB soldering, mounting and Building. Circuit analysis and implementation, troubleshooting and implementation. Software development also, its a good experience to gain. I had to help student on the Electronics project and one of my best highlights was making every challange accomplished.
