Stuck in one place. no room for growth

my co workers are very friendly, but management is the worst of all. your team leader is never for you According to there there for them we dont even feel like humans, its almost like you are just a machine to make money and thats it.

Excellent learning curve

prepared me to be able to to work and communicate with other people, work under pressure and to have presentation skills and time management. I was fortunate to volunteer at the old age home that is based in Parow Cape Town where I was the leader of the group that cooked, cleaned and entertained the old people. I found it rewarding, humbling and it felt good to give time to something worthwhile. This experience stood out as one of the best.

Good learning curve

We sell house and home products. Weare mobile sales and only earn commission we put oders for clients and the company delivers to the clients, the challenge we mt is that clients get to be rejected without any reason and later reapplied by the head office and paid with thei code thats means we losse clients for them to steal lateron its not fair

Pros: Not good opportunity to work hard and not be paid for what youve worked for
Cons: We work long hours even weekends and holidays and not earning enough income

Grew as an individual and learner to understand a market that I was not exposed to before

Work was very fun as freedom was given We had a good relationship as co-workers and was as a family Achieved best team for 2019 in the business Most challenging aspects was the data that was incorrect sometimes due to the older customer on the system.

Good leaning curve

My job is stressful but our management team tries there best to make the work environment fun. Here are lots of challenges but your mind set determines how you handle the situation.we all work well as a team and try our best to motivate each other when we having tough days

Perfect opportunity for a self motivated individual

Homechoice is a great company. The only problem is everything learnt, is most likely self taught. If you are not able to motivate yourself and learn by yourself, it's not the right place for you. The environment is very friendly, however, it does get extremely quiet in the credit risk department at time. My relationship with most of my colleagues are good, but not all people get along. The company has given the opportunity to learn to code, build reports, and start building and maintaining models. There are times that we are needed to stay late, mostly during provisioning in my case, but if you stick it through, there really is room for growth.
