Wonderful learning experience

Working at Markham taught me a lot about clothing or fashion retail. I learnt how to deal professionally with customers demands and high expectations. It is always best to meet and exceed customers expectations at all times.

Excellent learning

Since I was working in my company, I was working hand in hand with other employees as a team,helping each other,I have learned many things like with different customers and communicating with them in a good way not in a harsh way, What I like the most is that when I have made mistake My manager will not come to me and start shouting bat me front of customers, instead he will call me to a private place and solve the issue, What was challenging most is when I deal with va difficult customer

I kagisho I learned a lot of thing during my current job, how to communicate with people and im hard worker, the most thing I enjoyed in my current work is that we work as a team and we like a family, I can take a challenge that come on me and I'm a fast leaner

Great place to learn how to be independent

A typical work day, no new challenges. Great relationship with co-workers, I'm a team player. I've learnt a lot and have gained a lot of experience about working with people and dealing with clients, money, technology.

Fast learner, energetic, honest, reliable

Relationship with my co workers is good, I'm a team player, we communication well together and worked together as a team, I've learnt many things, how to work with customers and all of that, very targeted driven too.

Good working environment and you get to grow and learn alot

A typical day at work would be setting a target in the morning and what will be required to be done for that specific day, u don't get to use your phone during the day only during lunch time. I have a good relationship with my manager and we work well together and I enjoy doing admin and paper work also answering the phone and transferring calls

Joy in the workplace

my typical day at work would be coming in doing my admin there after having a cup of coffee having a fun talk with co workers before starting the day by opening the store and making sales whenever there is customers. my relationship with my co workers is very strong we like a family speak and share anything and everything it is fun working with them. iv learnt to work with people and under pressure, everyday isn't the same, iv learnt how to lead the team and work under pressure, iv learnt what its like to handle the everyday pressure of reporting issues instore and managing stock on a daily. what I enjoy most is working with people assisting customers and having them leave the store happy. most challenging aspect is preventing stockloss and making sure store makes daily targets.

Pros: managing a team is what has lead me in line to get a promotion
Cons: working long hours is something i am use to even working everyday with only two days off in a month

Wen it comes to my work I always do it to the best of my orebulerty to get it done.

To work at my company is grade but wen it comes to the people that is incharge is the problem, they say that thaey want to develop you but than it dus not happen, wen it comes to a typical work day I believe that is must always be grade because you spend the hole day with your work people, and my relationship with my co workers is very grade because I always put a smile on there faces. I have learnt alot working with people, al about fashion ,merchandising, most important wen you want to learn about thing than tou must do it.is wen I started at markham ididnt know anything about fashion but I have decided to take notes and start to learn about fashion .
