I have learned to work well as a team.

A typical day at work involved having to always hear complaints. I learned how having a provident/pension fund is actual very helpful when once is no longer working. Management was not up to standards they were actually not well suited for their positions (education wise). Having to deal with a large amount of people with different emotions. Helping people who desperately needed their money paid out..

Excellent experience and learning

People I work with are great and enthusiastic. The environment of the company is not to good. To many changes at once and no proper communication all around. I enjoy my job and I get to interact with different people and do the work so well. The work on its own is a challenge as there are too many standards and procedures that don't necessarily need to be there which makes it hard to process a single claim in an appropriate time frame. Working for the company has taught me the importance of time management, planning and paying attention to detail.

Pros: Great start when just out of school and young

Good

Set up interviews when there is posts Send out regret letters Sit in hearing and sometimes interpret I have learned to prepare a case bundle and CCMA files I have learned about managing absenteeism I have learned or was trained to be a first aider The challenging part is doing interpretation in hearings I enjoy giving letter of appointments to employees

Gained a lot of experience.

I have learnt a lot from the company. They have given me an Opportunity when i did not have any experience in my studied profession. There are many things that i have learnt how to do that where not part of my job description. This enabled me to develop my project management skills.

Excellent and informative

m a young and motivated individual and very hardworking. I am always willing to learn and have new challenges that will help me to grow. If given an opportunity I grasp it in both hands and explore all capabilities. In December 2007 I completed my matric with a Bachelor and obtained the leaner ship with Liberty Life I successfully completed in 2009. This has given me a range of practical capabilities that will meet the role of customer service. I am a part time student for Batchelor of Commerce Administration degree student doing my second year. While I was employed at Liberty I was Claims Assessor administrator under employee benefits and moved to Service Agent. My responsibilities in this role included providing face- to-face customer service and over the telephone and including making payments to the beneficiaries.

Good experience and better knowledge

Working for Mibfa is a great experience for me. Being able to assist applicants motivates me on a daily basis. We work as a team at all the time. Though each and every day has its own challenges. I appreciate the opportunity that I was given and I really wish to grow in the company. But however I can't only wait for greener pastures only at MIBFA. I need to look every where where I can find growth.

Pros: There is opportunity for growth but they want me to have an experience.
Cons: Hours are great

Learning curve

I have learnt a lot from the company And I want to learn more somewhere I feel my time to learn more has arrived and I'm not finding more things to learn from this company hence I want a better opportunity for myself this is because I want to grow myself The positions I want have been filled employees from this company they don't move from position to position people have been doing the same job for years and I fee my 5 from the company is enough I want to learn new things

no employee grooming.no ongoing product or business training. management leads on emotions.most supervisors dont know their work,survive on deligating.

Great first-time job

The company offers opportunities to learn on the job and get the essential training that is needed in most office environments. There is a high demand for accuracy at a high speed as there are always strict deadlines. Employees who fail to meet the deadline might face disciplinary action for poor work performance, so it's a very nerve-wracking environment where everyone is always stressed about meeting their deadlines as accurately as possible. At times it might seem like there is no room for growth because the chances of being promoted are slim to none.

Pros: Good opportunity to acquire new skills
Cons: Harsh employment conditions and low job security
