Best learning

I'm humble person who is able to work with me people and I'm very demanding person who start something and want to see it become successful. I can work very well in team work I have listening skills and always willing to learning from other people.. I had good relationships with co workers because I believe that I can on every person.. The day that was typical was day that client was furious because her policy did not have benifionary but she said she nominated herself but F.A forget to put one I have to be I have to calm client nd not sell out the coworkers. What I enjoy the most is working in customer service. The most challenging was dealing client who happen to get wrong advice regards with their policy when itz to claim and I have explain different story from the theory the have you end up being the bad person but at the I have to follow the process and rules

Pros: Willing to learn more about this industry

Excellent learning curve

With my previous employment I was a call centre agent in which we were servicing Gems medical aid and we would receive inbound calls from providers and members regarding their benefits, claims, correspondence and all other member related queries and working in a medical industry has taught me a lot that the voice of the customer matters.

Pros: Great opportunity to learn in a medical industry
Cons: Stressful environment

The role manages a team of a headcount of 12

MMI is the third largest insurance company in South Africa. My salary should have been re benchmarked to take into account additional responsibilities i.e. Employment Equity and Skills Development and the related headcount. Even though the group's policy is to pay at 50 percentile, it also allows for justifiable deviations.

Pros: New company still trying to find its identity
Cons: Informal culture

Innovation

i speak a number of languages and that makes it easy for people to relate to me as i speak with them in their languages, having to speak these many languages is sometimes tiresome as i have to do translations for the company and that which is not my job title and not being paid for, that sometimes delays the work that i'm employed for as i now have to work long hours to catch up with the work i'm getting paid for. what i enjoy most is when we have our weekly meetings where we discuss innovative ways to make our work more fun and also innovative ways to make the customers experience a delightful one, the surprise and delight factor

Pros: great opportunity to enhance my knowledge since working for a research department
Cons: long hours throut the year
