Excellent experience

Work environment from my previous place of employment was energetic and place with people with great attitude. My relationship with previous co-workers was good. Learned many things such as time management and pushing myself to test myself when to complete my daily task. The most challenging I came across in the work place is when dealing with difficult customers but I've learned how to deal with it and still deliver a great customer services no matter how difficult the customers was.

Excellent and work hars

Excellent , work hard and fair treatment for all employees its a good company ,I did enjoy working at Mr price ,they also taught how to treat customers and how approach customers ,what is good for customers and customers always right .they taught us how to open an account .

Was a quick learner

Start working by 8.. Tea time at past 10 coming at 11. I learnt many jobs at MR price because sometimes was receiving, scanning, worked at dispatch was doing many things was a quick learner. The Ddnt have any problem when u learning other jobs

At Mr Price we are one big family Managers and Team Leader and co-worker are very friendly. Coming to work every morning you look forward on going to work. My typical day at is coming to early to work. Having a meeting. We sing or dance in meeting before starting work. What I have learned is working in a team being helpful. What I enjoy is going to team building with my team when we win challenges.

Working at mr price

I work as a store associate work closely with customers and I enjoy it, I Cash desk admin sometimes as a Cashier I enjoy merchandising and working with people and we always encouraged team work because it builds and it helps us achieve our daily goals as well as the company goals. Being at mr price has thought me continuous commitment, meeting deadlines and personal management.

Pros: Great opportunity to learn/to prepare for though and busy working environment
Cons: Less motivation and slow growth

It is a learning curve

My day starts off at 7.45 when i get to the store i do my start of day in the system check promotions,targets for the day Ive always treated my fellow colleques with respest and since we spend half of our lives in the work place i made it fun too Ive learnt that being a manager is not only about crunching numbers in the system only its about the people because they are the ones that carry you I enjoy the relationship i have with with my staff.I enjoy the fact that after a long day and meeting targets we get incentives on a job well done The most challenging aspects of the retail is meeting targets..sometimes i feel like its not only up to me,the economy plays a major role too..

EXCELLENT TEAMWORK

I LOVE WORKING AT MR PRICE ,VERY FRIENDLY COLLEGUES AND UNDERSTANDLE MANAGER .I LEARNT TO BE PATIENT AND DO WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME .CHALLENGES IS THAT YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THE DAY HAVE IN STAKE FOR YOU ,MAYBE A VERY QUIET DAY AND MAYBE A VERY BUSY DAY.I ALSO NEED TO BE ON MY GUARD TO CHECK OUT FOR THIEVES AS WE DONT HAVE CCTV CAMERAS

I'm a hard worker dedicated to my work

I love working hard and I love customers and they are always right in so many ways and I should work as if I'm at home being free around everyone I love being at work because it's where I feel free and I'm talkative I like everyone to be happy when I'm around them at it feels good to know where you at and people are so happy and be free to speak to me about everything and I wanna learn more at work and be what I wanna be in future with Mr price I've learned so many things how to work at retail and how to handle customer but the are times when you wanna go home because of some people who spoils your day but you won't be able to give your customers that attitude you must always have a smiley face around them giving them the welcome love place and be happy around because customers are the ones who keep us going

Cons: Hours are fair enough

Finance economics and accounting

It is very interesting to work at mr price meeting new people everyday doing all the customer services and having to experience all the new fashion trend thats goning t come along the way But the difficult part is working long hours with difficult customers and closing the store late for cusmers who will be shorping late and dont want t leave the store It was a gud journey for me becouse it took me less than a year to be trained as a supervisor and it gave me lots of experince when it sales floor and doing the administrative stuff
