Excellent Learning Curve Gaining Experience in Industry
I work 9.5 hours Per day And each and everyday i learn something new.. My forman and Collegues makes my job easier because we work as a team and We enjoy our work...Challenges Are What Makes my Job interesting

Being able to work with others as a team

Learning curve
Long working hours which includes working on some weekends. Gaining valuable experience in the Engineering field and making the most out of the Kusile Projects. Gather as much knowledge as possible for future knowledge. Hands on with construction, planning Team, and have a good relationship with the Client which stays Happy as we excell and meet targets. My scope of work entail the mechanical and firing scope of work assisting in the assembly of 6 boilers for Eskom Kusile Power station. I support construction with all that they require clarity upon and feed the Client with constant feedback. Work very well with the Engineering department as they provide MRPE with all paper work required to erect and assembled the mechanical compoments.

Self Starter team player
I started working for Murray and Robert's at the Medupi power station in 2015. It was a very humbling experience first working at DB thermal Nigel wokshop where we fabricated almost all the components that later ended up at Medupi I had the privelege of seeing all these components come together at the Medupi powerstation to form the largest coal powerstation in Southern Sahara Africa. I did everything pertaining to inspection from structural inspection to mechanical and pressure parts inspection
Pros: The knowledge I acquired during my period and Medupi was valuable and helped expand my knowledge
Cons: All good things come to and end and my contract ended recently unfortunately

Excellent company
I cite myself as a hardworking, honest and reliable individual who can deal with people at all levels. I have gained a good measure of knowledge and experience as a draughtsman with specific reference to structural steel detailing and TEKLA software. I’m a quick learner who is always willing to learn new applications and has the ability to work under sustained pressure, pays attention to details, an excellent planner and highly numerate and literate. I’m very logical, use common sense, asks pertinent questions, will always suggest new ideas in improving work processes and looking to procure alternative employment in a corporate environment where i will add value to my employer. In my line of duty as a structural detailer I’ve gained a good 7years experience using TEKLA.
