I am currently working as a Financial Advisor for Old mutual.Ever since i have joined the company i have learned a lot things within the organisation.For example,you write your own cheque,you have to meet targets and deadlines.The job teaches me to be independent and responsible.

Good learning culture
Working in an exceptionally high pressurised environment. Keep to yourself, don't disclose any personally details, Co workers can be manipulative and back stabbers. Lots of opportunities to learn

Excellent and full of growth
I am a young lady who is self driven and likes working with so many people. Am friendly and would love to see myself grow and make my own check earning bonuses and learn when ever I can. I have worked with sales which is the kind of a job that needs dedication n persistency and have worked on retail before sales so I know very well what is expected of me in each and every customer I meet and to meet Target's to work as an individual and also love working as a team. Learnt alot
I am an individual who is hardworking and always strives to do their best. My work experience taught me to work alone or within a team context. I am proactive and tries to ensure that I have all my resources at hand in order to do my job. I believe in being flexible in a work environmemt. To do what is needed in order to get the job done. I am trustworthy and honest in my approach. I can work with minimal supervision.

Excellent learning opportunity as we were brought in to be the pilot of this job
co-workers are excellent as we are a team of 5 where it is easy for us to communicate with one another and as a result we are able to learn quite fast. Our job is to receive entities applications and ensure that it is FATCA compliant by ensuring that all the documents that are sent in are correct. if we have anything we are not happy with we need to resolve it either by reporting it to management or we need to call the client or broker and we need to explain the document as well as the outstanding requirements. so this means we need to know our legislation as well as the companies documents in order for us to convey the message and fully remediate a case. for each entity we fully remediate we save the company 16 000 rand

I am working as leads generator hand on hand with financial advisor , so basically I am sales consultant. And I started at old mutual finance working as Direct Sales Consultant so basically I have a lot of experience in sales department and admin department.

Client relationship skills built
A typical work day: Early bird meeting, commitment to weeks target, cold calling,submission of cases, meeting with client's, looking with client's, retaining clients. Relationship with co-workers:Team players, we help each other, supportive I have learnt to cope in a demanding, target driven enviroment, perseverance, commiting to goals, creating and maintaining relationship with diffrent clients,analyse a persons financial needs. I enjoy helping people reach their financial goals or plan for their financial goals. I enjoy interacting with different people on a daily basis. The flexibility. The most challenging part of the job would be the payment structure. Target determines basic and commission.

Great working with diverse cultures
I love working with diverse people and since that company is a long standing company I assumed it will be a great place to grow but soon found out that management is afraid if you are ambitious and want to grow they Stifel your growth. Over all great colleagues hard working. I focused more on my customers because that gives me satisfaction giving great customer service.

Insurance
Its a high pressure position, Sales. Selling insurance products to customers who earn between R5000 to 20000. We interact with different people everyday, and some take us as family or friends. Its a flexible job, we make our own appointments, more like cold calling customers and advise accordingly
