Excellent learning how to work in a large company

Working at PicknPay in Mpumalanga a year ago n now I'm not working residing here in Gauteng...I'm hard working and ready to work anywhere and I can start now n give 110%

Stock taking,damage controlling ,cashier

I worked as a cashier ,but I was able to do stock taking , damage control and costumer service. I am a very friendly person and at retail I have learnt that customer is always right come first (customer service).

Pros: If your work hard with enthusiasm then you get promoted.

Good communication with customers

i like to my work in such a way that i must be represent my self, i'm working in shop firt must be clean, must have a good communication in to there customers. what i have learn it that customers they abouse their right i now customer always right but they ask more because of that. i really fo enjoy if they came and buy and tell me that bhekani you a so good there i handle them. last if they look for something and i don't have, they say we goner live your shorp and go to ather shop and i life..

Great Learning Environment

TTypical day starts off in the morning with checking at store/product level that each stores has adequate stock to cover forecasted demand for the week, where there are gaps or potential risks, additional stock is ordered to meet expected sales. Weekly planning involves forecasting weekly sales, checking if master data is correct on the system. Accurately planning for promos, assessing if there any risks that might hamper promotional activity success such as poor service levels from suppliers.Discuss and liaise with vendor and commercial team on a regular basis regarding critical lines and promo activity, mentioning any risks to business and expected resolution dates to any current issues. Relationship with co-workers is great filled with a blend of young fresh talent and experienced individuals always willing to lend a helping hand and help you grow. All supply chain sub-divisions operate under one team banner/umbrella.

The supervisors and its management have no respect for their employees, whenever you have any other complain they read you like you don't have rights. The same applies when your sick or can't come to work due to emergencies or something they make it look like you just wanted to stay at home even though you have hard proof

Pros: The salary is not that bad cos you can see what your doing with it
Cons: Not enough time to rest

Perfect learning curve

My daily routine was to manage the daily operations of the store and to attend customers queries. Excellent working chances

We work well except working under pressure because we are short staffed. The salaries are not conjusive but we work well with our managers and we respect each other.
