I do Payroll, recruitment, reporting, IR
PAYROLL • Determine payroll closing date. • Leave capturing. • Ensure that necessary documents are received and ensure it is processed in the relevant month • Sending out reminder every month regarding payroll • Distribution of pay slips to the relevant manager • Ensuring that Recons are signed every month • Add or discharge employees from Payroll • Handle all the payroll related queries. REPORT • HR Monthly report • Prepare head counts every month. RECRUITMENT • Draft internal and external vacancy position • Screen of CVs. • Arrange interviews • Advise successful candidates and regret unsuccessful candidates. • Draw up letters of offers, once signed ensure completion of full engagement pack • IR • Organize chairperson and related logistics for all enquiries • Send telegrams to absconded employees SACO • Loading employees on SACO ADMIN • Maintain personnel files; keep them up to date and accurate. •

My work experience at Pioneer Foods
Pioneerfoods is an excellent company to work for as can be seen from my years of service. It is like a home away from home. I have learnt to work under extreme pressure and work during the festive season and public holidays. There is no challenging aspects anymore thus 1 of my reasons for leaving.
Pros: Its is a wonderful working enviroment
Cons: No scope for promotions, guys stay at their current jobs for years.

MULTI SKILLED
PIONEERFOODS IS A GOOD COMPANY TO WORK AND I HAVE A GREAT RELATIONSHIP WITH MY CO WORKERS BECAUSE I AM HELPFULL AND MANAGEMENT RELAY ALOT ON ME WHEN IT COMES TO CERTAIN TASKS. I AM WORKING HERE SINCE 2008 AND I LEARNED SO MUCH IT IS UNEXPLAINABLE. I HAD MANY CHALLENGING EXPERIENCE AND IT GOT ME TO A SENIOR CLERK (HIGEST GRADE CLERK) NEXT STEP FOR ME IS JUST TO BECOME MANAGER I WORKED MYSELF UP. REASON FOR ME APPLYING IS BECAUSE I AL LOOKING FOR A CHANGE IN ENVIROMENT AND BETTER MONEY

General clerk, doing administration in finance department.
A typical day, varies between very stressful, and not enough time in the day to a quiet day. I work with Purchase order numbers, HR admin, Data capturing and relief o switchboard on a few occasions. Co-workers at our offices is friendly and we assist each other as much as we can. We have a good relationship. I learned to be organised and to pay attention to details, and to work on my own. I enjoy the fact that I can take ownership and learn things on my own. I also enjoy having to make decisions on how best to perform my task. Most challenging aspects would be the non-co-operation of the Head Office staff.
Pros: Exposure is great. Pension fund option very good. Because of the cutting of cost you have to learn and equip yourself with knowledge to work in other fields as well. Which is a positive. Just the right amount of pressure.
Cons: Not enough formal training opportunities. Promotional opportunities is scarce.

Its good place to work in but the only concerns is the room for growth.
Review of the days work... its a good environment to work in but what concerns is the room for growth. the growth is very much limited. Day starts at 06:00 in preparing to dispatch and preparing loads for customers. the relationship with fellow workers is good provided things go according to their expectations. if not, it becomes a concern the to management. its a good environment to work in but what concerns is the room for growth. the growth is very much limited. Excellent learning curve
I have been in the industry for the past 15 years. I know everything from the floor up to the boardroom. I also have accounting back ground. Have been assistant accountant and accountant at Worcester bakery as well. My experience in the industry covers everything in the industry .

A great learning curve
I would to grow as a leader in my field and be a positive influence to my co workers .Further I would inprove my skills as to study further and make a difference in my work. What I enjoy most is reaching targets and goals for the company and myself. Challenges come everyday as the plant is running 24/7 - attend to breakdowns and reach the set targets. Challenges is also to get quality and quantity work out for the day.

Pioneerfood,is one of bigest food manufacturing companies in South africa.and I was working on the bakery section of their companies as an Acccountant.It is a very friendly environment to for and I have learnt alot.they equipped me with a lot of skills.
