I have been in the industry for the past 15 years. I know everything from the floor up to the boardroom. I also have accounting back ground. Have been assistant accountant and accountant at Worcester bakery as well. My experience in the industry covers everything in the industry .

A great learning curve
I would to grow as a leader in my field and be a positive influence to my co workers .Further I would inprove my skills as to study further and make a difference in my work. What I enjoy most is reaching targets and goals for the company and myself. Challenges come everyday as the plant is running 24/7 - attend to breakdowns and reach the set targets. Challenges is also to get quality and quantity work out for the day.

Pioneerfood,is one of bigest food manufacturing companies in South africa.and I was working on the bakery section of their companies as an Acccountant.It is a very friendly environment to for and I have learnt alot.they equipped me with a lot of skills.

This industry is challenging
Its a good company to work for. I have experienced that they are still very behind in their technology. The method they use in the trade is what i used 20 years ago at a leading beverage company. It is still very afrikaans. Communication can improve 100%. They do not take easy to change in the work place. Long working hours. You are on duty 24/7. That said, i enjoy it as I run the region as if its my business.
Pros: Company looks after you at retirement
Cons: Its difficult to break through and get an advancement when your superior wants to keep you in an existing position as you are producing good results

Excellent opportunity for Personal Growth.
My MExcellent opportunity for Personal Growth. My typical day at work entails daily interaction with Internal Stakeholders (Packing/Milling/Admin./Labour and Union Members ) as well as External Stakeholders (Customers, Transporters etc). I have an excellent working relationship with all Stakeholders and enjoy making sure that customers are satisfied with their deliveries and turnaround times which can be challenging at times. I have learned to deal with the challenges by adopting a proactive approach, open and transparent communication as well as being an extremely hands on Team player

Good company and people
Excellent company to work for. Get on well with everyone. Learnt how to deal with other employees. Enjoy the work and the culture of the company. Supervising others is a challenge but through knowledge and experience I have learnt a lot.

Experience exposure
I'm not sure if I should be able to continue going to work there because I am not happy with the way they treat employees and for 6yrs I've never attended any development courses or any other refreshing courses, so it's probably a dead end for any career advancement, not only for me bt for other employees at my level or even below me. ny

Excellent learning experience
i have integrity; i am committed and reliable sheer and hard worker on anything that’s worthwhile, i am an energetic, creative strategically. I pay attention to details and i am able to meet dead lines, that’s trainable and have interpersonal skills. I always insure that i am available to assist where i am needed I will be greatfull if this application receives your kind attention
