It is a very good learning curve and a challenge i learnt alot.

Hi, i like to start early and get things done. we are a small team and work well together. support each other. i work in the chemical industry selling industrial chemicals. i enjoy working with our customer's and building relationships. we do have good and bad days ups and downs but we help each other and always go home knowing that the customer is happy.

Excellent in learning curve

i over see the receiving and all the process of minning from receiving ,putaways and despatching as well. do cycle counts everyday look at the pending reviews of all counts that are done for the day. and in the morning i llok at the night shift report for any errors like short picking ,no stock ,credit on hold ,zero quantity captured.

Continous improvement and passionate about business

Daily interaction with all role players in the chain. To ensure business success. Planning of daily,weekly, monthly activities to ensure objectives are met (warehouse, stock, people, waste, Sheq etc.) Redesigningwarehouse layout to ensure effecient/optical stock picking and inventory level for inbound and iutbound. Managing staff in terms of IR and disciplinary policies. Procuring, sourcing the best vendors to ensure the warehouse is safe and maintained without compromising the safety of staff.

Excellent learning curve

Working with different customers, quoting and selling chemicals to these customers. Determine the price of productd. The relationship between me and coworkers is positive, we work well as a team. The highlight for me was learning problem solving skills

Good work environment and experience gained

Protea was a lovely company, I worked there for 16 years with broken service. We had an incident on site, management changed and there was a lot of uncertainty, I was not happy and resigned.

Cons: Limited promotion and opportunity to grow

I started off in Admin and have grown over the years and have learnt allot from the company.

I started off in Admin and have grown over the years and have learnt allot from the company. People culture is a bit complex. It can be a bit overwhelming for new starters. I do no think that the salaries are market related. Good employees do not get recognition.
