Great learning opportunities
It was a great experience working at Ok Furniture,I've how team work is important. My relationship with my co-works was very good,we used to do everything together as team we sticked together no matter how hard. I enjoyed being involved in the activities like helping the sales person with canvassing, doing field working,knock and drops and doing prospecting(calling/inviting customers to our stores) The most challenges we faced was,when we not meeting the targets.

Good
Good company but has scaled down its operations due to economic dificulties. It had a mixture of young and experienced personnel. It offered its employees a chance to study and improve their skills . It employed all the temporary workers permanently from the last 2 years before it experienced problems

Through out the years I have gained a lot of experience at the companies Ive worked for. Besides the knowledge Ive build up Ive learnt to be a teamplayer as well as making sober decisions on my own. The most challenging time is when you have an extremely difficult customer and you have to remain calm and try to keep the customer relation at all time while you also need to collect what is due to your company.This is most challenging but worth going through when you succeed.

Exellent learning curve,to have learned the sales side of business
typical day at work is connecting with customers setup appointments,prepare quotations,do a repair etc,relationship with co workers are great on all levels. ive learnt so much about the sales side of business and how important barcoding is. working with people. the most challenging aspect of my job is after a long day look back and say ive done it

Urgently can start now
Worked on one mine and 34 years experience did banksman timberman miner shiftboss currently doing mine captain coarse but was retrenched and was never off work at all I like working with people and get along with all or helping those who struggle with work I enjoy my work and like to learn from others I have learned to have patients because anger does not solve anything and the most important thing is to listen what other have to say

Larger Portfolio and Increased Leadership Skills
I was unfortunately part of the third round of retrenchments within the group over a 12 month period. The group is since in dire financial crisis. 2017 has not been a good year for the building industry.
Pros: One of five co-founders of the NMC Gauteng Branch and therefore an environment whereby I could excel and test all of my abilities successfully.
Cons: Head Office based in CT and vast discrepancy in culture and manner of business.

Excellent relationship built in stores
Really worked well with my managers as I was mature enough to understand what they were asking of us. Loved seeing my customers and build awesome relationships with them. Worked well with colleagues and helped where I could. Lota of fun and also lots of pressure but worked through it all.
