No progress

good and boring in terms of progress, they don't encourage education. there is no specific plan for young graduates straight from varsity, no guidance on what to on a daily basis. graduates are not well paid and there are less chances for employment or promotion. self growth is rare or very difficult as you are not involved in most of the things happening around your workplace, they don't open opportunities for graduates to further enroll their studies.

Great exposure. Decision process lengthy however changes are welcomed. Senior management are very supportive of change. Overall working experience with staff great mix of cultures and skills.

Excellent entry level job

Sappi is diverse in terms of civil engineering, we cover all aspects of the engineering field from roads to structures and much more.We also work with a lot of aspects regarding industrialised maintenance work.

My current job is exciting and challenging and can be rather extensive at times. It entails constant interaction with various co-workers in order for work processes to flow smoothly. Everyday is a learning aspect for me, which is the most exciting. Knowledge is key, and being able to broaden my depth of adopting new knowledge. The most exciting and challenging aspects of my job is trying to balance demand and supply and creating a end result which is most satisfying to our customers with an end goal of creating financial status for the company.

Fiqure orientated , attention to detail

constant communication with vendors to ensure queries are resolved timeously most challenging aspect in my job is to determine which currency is most viable to settled foreign invoices enjoy the calculation for conversation of foreign our local currency to determine I could work both in a team as well as on my own with minimal supervision have an excellent relationship with co workers and management alike

Great company to work for.

Sappi is a great place to work for. I learn continuously and get along with all my co-workers. I get praised for hard work and innovative thinking and get pushed to reach my potential. The atmosphere is friendly and professional and I would gladly recommend anyone to work here.
