Good training company

I started to work at SAPPI from 2004 until current. Sappi is a good company to work for its gives adequate training and also promote their people. At SAPPI they also support the diversity and their management when making the decisions they made it based on facts not emotions or politics. To get to where I am today its because of SAPPI they build and grown me.

Fiqure orientated , attention to detail

constant communication with vendors to ensure queries are resolved timeously most challenging aspect in my job is to determine which currency is most viable to settled foreign invoices enjoy the calculation for conversation of foreign our local currency to determine I could work both in a team as well as on my own with minimal supervision have an excellent relationship with co workers and management alike

Good learning

Learned alot and they groom you also grow many skills and knowledge from the company but no jobs as expected ed me well. I would suggest the company to those who would like to start learning and obtaining their training skills for trade test

Great company to work for.

Sappi is a great place to work for. I learn continuously and get along with all my co-workers. I get praised for hard work and innovative thinking and get pushed to reach my potential. The atmosphere is friendly and professional and I would gladly recommend anyone to work here.

Pros: Great working enviroment.
Cons: Hard to get promoted or hired.

Qualified artisan as fitter and I also specialise on different mechines

currently working with maintaince crew we service filler traypackers and six packers depal;palletiser;conveyours;rinsers;and labeler iam good in all of this mechines the company even send to gerent for training iam a specialist on the labeling mechine and some times I stand in for my foreman and also conducts maintaince and shurts iam a hard working person,versitele and I diliver in time

Pros: this company is one of the best growing company and we'll known
Cons: it happened some days we work 24 hours due to big breakdown

Ilike to work as team to communicate with other artisans because if you an artisan it a must to share some ideas with other it either foreman or chargand I like to become a good artisan ihope so and iwant to learn more to defferent artisan
