To work with the people that I do, is actually very refreshing.

Working with my colleagues that I have now is a breeze. They have become more than just my colleagues and even friends, in the short time, they have become my family. The position that I had been in, I sat in before for the same section, just as a Senior Clerk. At that time, I sat in the Team Assistant/secretaries place when she went on leave or was off sick... Now that I had just over 6 months experience as a team assistant, I have learned so much.

Technician Development programme

My experience as a learner technician and candidate technician has taught me how to apply almost all the theoretical knowledge I accumulated from university into the working environment. Through mentorship from a highly qualified technicians and working with a dedicated team of artisans, I have been exposed to the process knowledge of the industry, fault finding skills, industry equipment maintenance to achieve optimal production, how to implement maintenance strategies and through assisting the technicians and artisans with plant jobs and projects I have developed skills on what projects in industry are about as well as how to associate and deal with a team of people from different cultures, beliefs and personalities.

Time management

as a black female artisan im very interested in working with my hands oils and grease sometimes...wanna show orther females that it is possible to be in a male dominated industry and still be strong...I wanna grow in this industry to more seniors levels

Good

I'm highly efficient with time management. I really enjoy an open working environment where people can express how they feel about doing certain jobs. Willingness to learn more in the job that I'm doing is one of my strength

I work for sasol machine shop as a Turner, I like dis work with all my heart, to find my self working on mechanical things and breakdowns that waht I like.working on sizes tolerances that makes me interesting on this path.
