Versitile
Im currently working at a cash centre and loving my job. A typical day at work is when i have counted about 200 deposits as a teller and R14 000 000 as a bulk teller in note sortin. Quite challanging but it is possible. Working at this company is quite interesting and demanding but enjoyable too. I have learnt a gread deal of respect for others and team work. The work load is possible when its done as a team and not an individual. My relationship with my co workers is good although we do have our ups and downs because of the presure we might have at that particular moment, we are a great team. The most challenging aspects of the job is the shifs and workload that dont match our salaries.Though we are compasated with function, it is still not enough. Money is the most requirement of the job.

Excellent experience
I have gained a very good experience at SBV. I can now do bulk counting, cash processing and also sort notes. I can also differentiate between fake and original notes since i was given a training at SBV. I also have experience in computer. I am very proud that i worked at SBV for such a long time because i even had a wonderful relationship with my collegues and management and all the departments throughout all the years i have worked there. Thank you SBV

No growth
For the past few years i was not happy .working as grade 5 no motivation ,no growth.worse unprofessional. They inconvenience you like every day you come early morning they tell you to do that after maybe 3hours they tell u to stop. And do something else .no planning at all .

Decision making centralised to management
Worst company to work, decision making is centralised at the top without involving its lower level employees. Long hours which are not appropriately compensated. No growth opportunities. No work-life balance. Overtime hours are averaged out. High level of employee dismissals. Worse working conditions for lower level employees. To make long story short this not the company to work unless you want to get exploited for your valuable labour.

L5 banking course
It is a stressful environment ,working under pressure and you have to services our client wants their money in their bank now yet she or he is not the only client we are dealing with but we tried all our level best to make our client happy .and retail department you see different people with different culture most of the time its exciting and it what i enjoy e lots meetingwith different character's. And i learn to be a hard worker and be patient know what you wants in life.
