I have a national diploma in legal assistance and currently working as a legal assistant for scorpion legal protection. I consult, give legal advice, call respondents, draft letters of demand, update clients, lodge complaints, draft closure letters and finalise cases.

Great skills development

Good interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
Learnt a lot from the short-term insurance, strong relationships with colleagues, sharing knowledge and expertise with experts from various diversity. Hard working and professional environment for graduates to learn more without limitations and or restrictions. Fast pace working environment that enables one to be punctual with the executions and exercises of duties. Ability to interact and liase with clients, providing adequate legal advice to clients and render quality services to the clients, excellent customer service and well mannered and professionally organized.

Great work admin experience
Good working environment, assisting different kind of people work great with colleagues. I have learned all my admin experience from this company, Typing, Call centre, sales. what I have enjoyed mostly is working with people with legal knowledge, legal advisers and lawyers. the most challenging aspects would be when having to deal with angry client because of their challenges either at work or whatever problem they may be facing and still be able to maintain your calmness. Taking into account that the individual is here because of whatever challenge they may be facing and having to be more understanding and sympathetic at all times.
Pros: No growth
Cons: Working on saturdays is the challenging part I would wish to change in my next employment if given the opportunity to find such company. Currently we also work one saturday in one saturday out.

Work Life Experience
I work in the specialist department receive new cases from our national call Centre on a daily basis were in policyholders are contacted and cases receipt is confirmed. Our relationship is excellent we are a close knit team of Three , 2 females and 1 male. I have leant the importance of customer relations and also team involvement . I enjoy meeting client's expectation and Finalising cases after achieving a mandate successfully. the most challenge aspect is having to tell a policyholder that hi matter is not covered for enforcement or cannot assist any further and will have to close file.

I've over 13 years working experiance on claims management and claims handling procedures.
I'm currently working as a Branch Manager for one of the leading legal insurance company, and I'm also responsible for managing almost 9 branch staff and claims that are lodged by our policyholders. I have a good working relationship with my colleague and staff members who reports directly to me. I have learnt so much about claims administration processes during my stay with the company, and I do enjoy working with people. The most challenging aspect of the job is that I had to work extra-ordinary hours in order to achieve the branch target.
Pros: I've grown with the company, and there is a great potential for growth as well.

Risk Indication and risk profiling. Interpretation/Application of Income Tax Act, Tax Administration Act and Value Added Tax Act. Adherence to audit procedures from planning stage to execution stage. Perform audit in line with Audit Methodology. Reviewing the system established to ensure compliance with those policies, plans, procedures, laws, regulations and contracts which could have a significant impact on the operations and reports. Prepare tests procedures for adequate controls and completing the audit program. Perform field work testing. Escalate cases where feedback is not received. Produce finalised working papers and evidence for all componence of work, as standards set in the Audit Methodology. Representing taxpayers in the Undetatement Penalty meetings.
