The days of an Area Manager at Sorbet
Always start my day with some self reflection to mentally prepare for the day as I need to be motivating to franchise partners and staff in stores where morale is low due to pandemic and poor performance. I enjoy encouraging people and projecting that positive energy in store in order for staff to perform exceptonal during the day. Most challenging has been having to switch really negative Franchise partners who want to exit the group, only a small percentage, not all. I enjoyed being in store amongst the guests and staff, really creating an impact by increasing turnover for the store, motivating both Franchisee and staff.

Learning out of a box
Working g at sobert has got me out of my comfort zone,working with different clients everyday and very important creating a relationship with them to create that loyalty and trust..

Beautiful/exciting experience
Dear Madam/Sir I hope all is well. My name is Bantle Daphne Motladile, a 26 Year old young woman based in Linden Johannesburg. I am eager to find an opportunity where I can learn more and develop myself and not only that but become a real asset to your company which I would aspire to grow as a young woman who has been doing administration/reception as well as management work. I am currently working as a part-timer Administrator at the Sorbet in Parktown as well as Northgate. I am an open minded young woman and hard working and I am gracefully a happy person in general no matter how hard the outcome of my personal or work life is,I enjoy being around people and this opportunity would mean a lot to me as I am a fast learner and always open to a new start. I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Arts Degree through Unisa and I have studied a course in Aviation as well as a HC in Law.

Fast pace, fast thinking and time is money
Amazing if you are starting out in tht industry, but not for long term work as there is no growth. Been working for sorbet for 6years and nothing has changed not had it pushed me to be more or do more. In order to upgrade you have to prove yourself to people that you don't work with or on everyday and I think that's extremely unfair. The guests and people that come for treatments should be the judge of that

Team work grows a company
Nice working environment and great interaction with clients. An individual gets to learn more abt customers n total guest experience.. Great colleagues who are helpful and knowledgeable, friendly n team players

New experience. And totally new environment
It was new to me to be in the beauty industry,I've learnt every thing about beauty and skin. I loved mosty interaction with guests serving and seeing them smile was a bonus.

Excellent learning experience
Low remuneration and high expectation of duties, good working relationships with clients and co workers . Good place and environment to learn thought the renumeration is not enough for an admin manager post .

Open the Store, Switch on Computers, post unposted sales from previous day, switch on wax pots and aircon and music. Balance bookings accordingly amongst therapists and nail technicians working that day, do hygiene checks, do stock take/inventory, load on system. manage reception and take more bookings as the scheduler allows, bank previous day money continue managing the staff and guests, offering refreshments taking payments ensuring good customer service through out while managing hygiene levels and stqff movements. After everything then ensure the store is tidy and everuthing is back to its place, load pettycash, cashup, check for discrepancies, report, print ,file then lock up and go home.
Pros: Great opportunity to strengthen customer service skills.
Cons: Long working hours, working during holidays and weekends
