At South African airways, I have learned to work under pressure with or without supervision. Learn to differentiate your customers but still working within the company policy. With the experience I have gained it will go a long way in my life e.g being able to transform yourself after you had unpleasant customer swearing and calling all the worst names but still be able to assist the customer with great smile and satisfaction
Pros: We have a great number of employees as for promotion is very slim but possible, diverse cultures and beliefs yet customer experience and offering must be consistent

Challenging ones offer so much professional and personal growth so I embrace challenges
Working at my current company is really amazing, no one day is like the other. Dealing with different people from different backgrounds from all walks of life from all over the world is beautiful and challenging. I've learned so much about the international community and the aviation industry. I learned how to refuel an aircraft even if it is far from my pay grade. I've asked pilots questions about flying and assisted cabin crew in a flight once.... its just a wonderful place to work and learn. I have learned that the more challenging days teach you so much than the easy ones so that allowed me to embrace challenges because they offer so much growth
Pros: My work is great way to know to deal with different scenario on a dailey basis. No day is like the previous and meeting the international community

Hard worker, strong ethics, always up for a challenge
As an individual looking for a change, I read this posting with interest. Excellent growth
Working for South African Airways has been such a great pleasure. I have been exposed to different cultures and diversity of both customers and fellow colleagues. I have learnt to be professional at all cost and not take things personal. Dealing with people requires patience and empathy. I have also been exposed to rendering seamless services to the leaders of our country , corporate industry leaders ,dealing with challenges and disruptions that required real-time solutions has built my character and to enable me to deal with pressure in a more realistic and humane manner.

Excellent learn
Hi i studied for air hostess I am a very good listener and i love working with people i love learning they culture and they food , working with different people doesn't bother me at all because i love learning new things from them. I respect. The relationship that i had with my co workers was very good because we learnt to understand each other and respect each other. I learnt to understand that people are not the same and you should always listen to what they should say to you and respect them. I enjoy swimming The most challenging thing that i had was when i lost my parents both of them in an car accident, i learnt to stay alone and do this my own way it was had but i pushed.

SAA is great company to work for with prospect for growth but mismanagement has destroyed the company, it has the potential of being one of the best airlines in the world

Customer service champion
Working here is a very challenging as we have to deal with angry and frustrated passengers all the time by ourselves and we give suggestions on how to improve retain passengers,we are not taken serious. We are paying fines for little small mistakes and they come in USD and we end up paying roughly R40-50 000 fines. We are not safe,as anyone can walk in and shoot or assault us.
