This was always my passion to work for the police but the force have change so much that it just became a work. No promotions and minimal salary increases

Good
administraion duties regarding trainees from the Academy. South african police service is the front line sefety security agency of South Africa. i work hand in hand with my co workers physical duties and i also communicate with the supervisors timesously. i learn that communication works with the co-workers. i enjoy presenting and share information when an presenting. safety first is very much important.

Great learning curve
challenging, working under a lot of pressure trying to serve the public to the best of your ability. sometimes a very dangerous. good learning platform. teaches you how to cope under a lot of pressure

Great experience
it is a great learning curve to work within this organization. I've learned so much up to so far because of the exposure that we get but I'm Willing to move forward. I believe I've done my part.

Intelligent and innovative
Team player easy going a very quick leaner. Working here is a challenge because you meet different people with totally different backgrounds and you need to be able to adapt. I am a people's person always bring joy to who ever is in my company I am sure even if I can get this job they will miss my company. I have learned a lot as my job is to serve people some people very difficult but you need to have a strategy to go around that. To learn new staff almost every time or challenges. To keep calm and absorb what ever the client throws at you

Challenging yet fulfilling
I receive case docket for investigation. I then call the complaintant to introduce myself. A meeting is set to meet in person so that questions that were not asked, are asked to identify witnesses and possible suspects. I gather all available evidence (physical and oral) and prepare for lawful arrest/s and take the file to the control public prosecutor for discussion and possible issuing of arrest warrant/s. I had a healthy work relationship with my colleagues as that taught me a lot about teamwork with different personalities. I learned that nothing is as it seems. No matter the race, religion, age, etc, people lie and special interviewing skills are needed to get the truth. I enjoyed interviewing people while they contradict themselves most of the time and by that, a case can be finalised timeously. The most challenging is part of the work was the long hours on each case and having to work with witnesses that are not cooperative.
