Excellent learning curve
I am at current answering two hundred to five hundred calls that includes emergencies a day and transferring them to relevant departments that consists of five hundred to eight hundred people in the building. In my post, one needs to familiarize themselves with all departments in the building and know exactly where to transfer a call to save time, money and possibly the life of the caller. It is a great experience, having to be so helpful between clients and the organization. It is most of the time an excellent learning curve and i love helping people. The only difficult part of my job is when someone who is in trouble calls screaming for help and the call gets cut off and it is worse when the call is untraceable for a recall.
Pros: Great opportunity to learn and be aware about what is happening around us on daily bases
Cons: Less opportunity for promotions

I have a valuable work experience within a Safety and security environment. I have worked for 2 (two) years in a private company and 12 (twelve) years in the Public service.

Good commutation
My relationship with co-workers is when they don't know how to calculate hours or their tariff to help them and our relationship is to very strong because I'm working for the Accounting station and all other station submitt their claims to me.I learn a lot from my Mentor e.g how to respect members,how to deal with police members, how to calculate overtime,Capture bank forms information, Capture Sunday and Nights claims. I enjoy to work with police members because we do team work and respect each other. The most challenge is when you request advance for a member who is going to court or course and when he/she come there is no invoice for B&B.
Pros: Experience on financial system
Cons: I have to work long hours when calculate overtime for the whole cluster. Normal hours is 8 hours per day.

Gave me the opertunity to learn a great deal of working with differend cultures
There are different places to work in the South African Police Service and you as a person can decide for yourself where you would fit the best in to make sure that you have a work place that makes you happy to go to work and enjoy in what you are doing. Not everyone is made to have the same ability to do the same work that is why there is different places for you as a person to decide in witch direction you want to go. you as a person deeds to make sure that you as a person is willing and able to walk that extra mile that are sometimes needed to get the job done.

Learning Excellent curve
hard working person who is always willing to learn. I have a National N6 Diploma (L/C). I am currently working as an Engineering Technician at Transnet in Beaufort West .I am doing installations , repairs , programming , fault tracing using schematics diagrams .I am also supervising my team .

Learn new things
I LIKE MY CURRENT JOB BECAUSE AT OUR OFFICES WE ARE ABOUT 50 INVESTIGATING OFFICERS AND WE ARE LIKE A FAMILY WE TREAT EACH OTHER WITH RESPECT. WE ASSIST EACH OTHER EVERY TIME ANY ONE NEEDS HELP.I LIKE BEING IN COURT FOR TRIALS AS THEY MADE ME TO BE A BETTER PERSON. I ALWAYS TESTIFY IN COURT AND ALSO DOING BAIL APPLICATIONS. WE ARE OPEN TO EACH OTHER THAT IS WHAT I LIKE ABOUT MY COLLEAGUES WE EVEN EAT TOGETHER IF WE BUY FOOD. THE MOST CHALLENGING THINGS ABOUT OUR JOB IS WHEN THE COMPLAINANTS CAME AND FORCE YOU TO ARREST THE PEOPLE THEY SUSPECT EVEN IF THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THAT POINT THEM. THEY REPORT YOU TO THE COMMANDER OR EVEN GO TO PROVINCIAL OFFICES AND YOU HAVE TO EXPLAIN ALL THE TIME WHY YOU CAN'T ARREST THAT PERSON.
