Excellent Working life
- I always look forward for a new day to be at work - I have developed a very good working relationship. This is seen by the fact that they always want to be part of my working team and positive results which comes from their efforts - I learned to always remain humble, dedicated, give it all in every assignment assigned to you irrespective of the challenges you meet in life, - I enjoyed to work with everyone who is willing to work with me and I also enjoy sharing information with an aim of improving service delivery and value - The most challenging aspects of the job is Technology innovation. It changes everytime and to be able to adapt with the pressure of it, you need to do a lot research, and reading.

Great Learning Experience
I started my work career at Stats SA as and intern in human resource management, and i would like to highlight what i learned in the mighty organization. Stats SA has a taught me above all independence and discipline. As an intern i was not treated like a learner i was treated like a co-worker and therefore expected to work as hard and as independent as my co-workers. in each division i went to i was learned so much in such a way that i can even do the job in my sleep. they tell you when you get there that you are only allowed to crawl for one day from day two you start walking and running no more crawling. this was never to scare me or anything but to encourage me to be a fast learner and easily adapt to change. I am really grateful for the opportunity and experience and most importantly people i worked with as we worked really well together as a team . i enjoyed everything about the job and did not find anything challenging.

Better learning curve
It's a good thing to work at Statistics SA as I am well exposed to GIS application in the statistical environment. My relationship with co workers is great . They are supportive,caring ,welcoming and helpful. Sometimes we spend a lot of time not doing anything especially when there is no project taking place.
Pros: Esri attendance trainings
Cons: Sometimes have to come to work on the weekend and ruining errands for logistic

Geographical Systems
working from 08:00-16:30, but i enjoy working till late. we work as a team/groups this gives me more time to engage and learn from others. I have learnt spatial statistics that is bringing space to your data and some GIS systems like arc-map and Q-GIS. I enjoy doing researches and equipping myself through learning different statistical methods/techniques and statistical packages. research thou i enjoy but is more challenging.

Working smarter
Statistics South Africa is an organisation is a suitable place to kick start one's career in the field of statistics. new employees get an opportunity to learn about data collection techniques, data analysis and data dissemination. The management is supportive towards the development of new employees, indeed this was the best place to start my career. The work flows and the team work was amazing. Management was good. Co-workers were amazing there was a lot of team work. As part of my internship with Statistics South Africa is an excellent learning opportunity and I developed my skills and experience in numerous different ways. I have learned that the real world is much different from what you learn in the classroom, that some things you learn are similar to what you were taught, but that for the most part learning is achieved through the process of doing. In the world of Statistics things happen at a fast pace, and you must take everything one day at a time while still keeping an eye on the future.
