I have been introduced to e commerce world. Excelled in excel word office . sales force ,zendesk business operating systems. Being focused at all times.. Being able to meet deadlines.

Excellent culture

Very high paced working culture. Typical day is from 08h30 to 17h00 Got to learn a tremendous deal about working with suppliers and managing stock.. Good opportunity as an entry level comoany given the excellent learning curve and ability to quickly fast track your progress and get promoted.

Fast learner

I'm willing to face new challenges and I'm a hard worker with a good communication skills .my duties as a receiving clerk is to make sure that I receive nd process each and every items of stock that comes in I check if the item is not damaged ,if its the correct I item which have been ordered ,I also check the barcode and long queries if there is a short sply of a barcode integrity. I do house keeping after work before I go home .the system that we use when we receive stock its Oracle cloud. I enjoy what I do most because during receiving you face many challenges which is the most important thing because there more u face challenges is the more u learn nd gain more experience so while working u have to b accurate because the stock need to sorted and be handled with care some of the items are fragile so accuracy is needed

Meet different people

Takealot is a big company, with a lot of different characters. We work 6 days a week. You must know how to work as a team and u must make their target. It also teaches how to lead your team . the most part I enjoy is when there is a price , when everyone must push hard ,just for us to the number on the team.

I learn a lot how to use oracle and Patti to receive stock

I was receiving stock from clients and I mostly enjoyed to chat very friendly with the customers because it's very funny and it really helped me a lot to do my job nice and legibly and quick s. So what l lean from them is to work with a lot of different kind of people from different and l learn a lot to work under pressure there because Takealot is very busy online shop

Pros: Takealot is a company that promotes if you are very good on what you are doing
Cons: I was working from 7am to 17:00 or 21:00 /23:00

A typical day like at the office can be described as highly fast paced and unpredictable. My relationship with my colleagues are great as I have come to learn and embrace the different personality types, which has resulted in strong working relationships. I have come to learn during my time at my current organisation, that what is relevant today, will not be relevant tomorrow. Bringing order to the chaos and figuring out the unknown is what I enjoy most in my role. The most challenging asers of the job would definitely be not always obtaining buy in from Managers to abide by HR policies and procedures and last but not least, not having HR sit on Exco level results in HR having minimal influence in key decision making projects or processes.

I am a hard worker and fast learner.

Good company even and have good experience in hiring many people . Qa it's management is good have very limited access to the company rules and regulations.

Excellent learning curve

Enjoyed working with a dynamic team, and a great place to learn more about microservices and how to adopt new ways of testing them. The team is always keen on learning new things and new ideas from others and are always willing to listen. I like the flexibility of working from home when possible.
