I was working as a picker communicating with a scanner, for a period of 3 months.
I was working as a picker communicating with a scanner, for a period o i was cf 3 months. I was picking the customer oders and pack them accordingly. I was working a night shift which helped me to keep on pushing even if im underpressure.
Pros: I am a graduate and if i would get a chance to work or start this internship in the field of IT.

Great company to get exposure
Working at takealot has allowed myself to build many good relationships with users as well as service providers, working at the DC is fast paced and ever changing, you have to think on your feet and be willing to learn, there are many growth opportunities within the other departments however with rapid expansion comes a lot of unexpected challenges and the work load can at times become quite a lot and is always urgent due to the nature of the business.

I am a hard worker and fast learner.
Good company even and have good experience in hiring many people . Qa it's management is good have very limited access to the company rules and regulations.

Excellent Learning Curve
My day starts at 04:00, end around 22:00,. We do deliveries in various part of town, then after 5pm we do food deliveries at you designated place.I’ve learnt to be more outspoken, other cultures ways and my co-workers are very helpful, especially being in a male dominated industry. I enjoy the travelling and the challenging part is the working hour’s

Excellent learning
It was my pleasure for me to work at warehouse industry. I gain a lot of experience because I was working in different departments. And what I like the most is to help the customers when they come to collect their orders and we had a great team work and a great management.

GOOD RECORD
Takealot is a online shopping business selling almost everything.My duties are to do stock take assist pickers in finding stock,making sure stock is placed in correct locations.pack stock to customers.My coreworkers are so friendly we and we now frm complete strangers to brothers and sisters.I enjoy doing stock take because it makes everyones job easier.Most challenge is when stock is filed incorrect and we cannot find it and a report has to be done as where the stock is.i have learnt alot of things here like picking,packing and shipping

Good Experience
Very Demanding working condition's Most Staff a pleasant to work with I learnt just to put your head down and get the job done Mostly enjoyed the fast pace Dealing will unwilling drivers and irritate customers

The company provides an environment that encourages skills development
The organization gives employees the opportunity to build on their skills however there is a lack of career growth opportunities. The organization would be much better if there were more opportunities to grow within career development rather than just skills and staying in same position
