Great overall experience
Typical work day would be to check that all my agents in my team is present and everyone is logged in and ready to start the day. I will start listening to calls and arrange one on one meetings with agents. I communicate the expectation for the day via group skype to stay in contact with each agent. I started as an agent in 2008 and became Team Leader in 2014.

Have learned a lot and built a lot of experience in various area's. but simply no growth here.
Really stressful and honestly unappreciated, working under an agency for over 3 years with no promise of growth, salary raise or permanent position, in fact we got a salary decrease. So i really want to start a permanent career in this field and grow myself to management position and share my knowledge.

Achieving good leadership
The first day when I was starting to work at takealot.com ,I expected and of energy to be in the company.It was pick season the company was advertised on TV everyday so I was so happy to be a part of the team that serves the needs of the customers. I enjoy our work environment cause is more like a sports activities ,we wear snack cause we run to pick orders and pack it and shipped .I have become fast using my eyes and hands cause we work against time, I could say I'm an sportsman.

FAIR
I am a driver, load and offloading of Parcels. I really like the team work applyed, We all get along so good and helping one another. leaning many activities onloading and offloading. Good driving skills knowing how to plan your route. I enjoyed exploring places and communicating with workers. Challenging Aspects is the workload does tend to increase, though it's still manageable, it may just mean working a bit later depending on the work.

Good planning and organizational skills.
am a diligent worker, have good interpersonal skills, good work ethics, able to work under pressure and not afraid of challenge. Am polite, self-motivated, fast leaner and adjust easy to new environment with good planning and organizational skills.

It was an exciting job, very challenging and eye opening.
It wasn't that easy but helped in boosting a self-esteem. As much as it was challenging, It needed one to persevere and outsmart all the challenges and turned them to a lesson. On the other hand, an individual should know on how to count the goods and how to pack them accordingly. Working with people who understands one language also made me learn at least 3 official language except for English which is the medium of communications. This experience also taught me how to communicate with older people. The job as a Packer also taught me to be a team player. I have learned that there are lot of things that one may find it difficult to do, but as a team you can be able to achieve more. Most challenging moments is when you work at night. It was a difficult task to do. Working during the day was very exciting because you can be able to interact with customers on daily basis. It helps one to learn different characters within a very short period of time.

I have learn how to receive, picking, shipping, invoicing and a lot of things in the warehouse
its a very good thing to work for a company like this as i have learnt a lot of things and i have a lot of experience, i like working here because of the team work and communication we have with other employees, sometimes its hard when we have to work long hours but i have learnt to work under pressure,what i enjoy working with a computer and the most challenging time is peak season.

Excellent learning exxperience
its is quite busy, very high paced and works on a peak time basis. amazing environment with young and vibrant people. i have the importance of attention to detail and gained the ability to multitask. i mostly enjoy the vibe because everyone is full of energy. the most challenging aspect is when a store has an issue that we cannot resolve immediately and we have to refer them to another department.

Cons: high volumes can get your vibe off if you cannot self manage

Excellent company to work for , however there is no potential for growth .
I am seeking permanent employment and this is the reason why i wish to leave this company as it is contract based, which ends soon.mmmThere is also no scope for improvement and if you apply for jobs within the company it is always rejected, very disheartening. My colleagues are wonderful. No other issues besides the contract work situation

Great Exposure
A typical work day is extremely fast and face many challenges, have to keep up with fast pace Good/strong relationship with co-workers I have learnt various skills and functions at takealot from recruiting to skills development, project and much more.
