Achieving good leadership

The first day when I was starting to work at takealot.com ,I expected and of energy to be in the company.It was pick season the company was advertised on TV everyday so I was so happy to be a part of the team that serves the needs of the customers. I enjoy our work environment cause is more like a sports activities ,we wear snack cause we run to pick orders and pack it and shipped .I have become fast using my eyes and hands cause we work against time, I could say I'm an sportsman.

Pros: Being a good supervisor
Cons: Work hard to achieve target

Training and development has changed a lot on my skillz

It is a nice place to be except that everything is centralized and management is totally not people oriented, team members are friendly and we do everything as unity, this job is very challenging and it always keeps me on toes even though there is no rewards.

Pros: keeps me focus at all time as we are dealing with high value stock
Cons: do not have time for my family

Excellent learning curve, high pressure and good environment

A typical day involved a planning with the aim allocating work burden to myself and to my employee. I then would conduct the days management and administrative task, attend meeting and chair forums. I generally a good relationship with fellow employees driving mutual goals for the company's benefit. I learnt to leverage all my past experiences and skills to further own skill set and drive the business agenda to a point of maximum efficiency and optimal function / health. I enjoyed going to work and finishing my tasks to return another day. The role was high volume and based upon direct customer feedback, so it took a lot of effort and discernment to navigate effectively and efficiently.

Pros: Next gen company
Cons: Contract, pay is low for volume
