- Hard, having to deal with clients who just lost their cars - My relationship with my team is great, we all understand each other both work wise and general life - The spirit of ubunto - Helping people to get their cars back - Activating a vehicle knowing that there is a person who has been taken hostage in the vehicle

Opportunity for growth and skills improvement

Responsible to Manage the following teams - Service Desk team -Telephony team -IT Procurement team -Network Monitoring team Responsibilities -Manage Service Level Agreement (SLA) within the business and with the Service Providers -Coordinate changes and Chair the Change Advisory Board ( Minimize service impact to the business) -Manage major incident through the incident management process, when receiving alerts on the monitoring tool. -Develop and Maintain Control Systems by enforcing standard operating procedures. -Responsible for the human resources management of the team. -Responsible for drafting of policies within the IT environment and enforce adherence. -Monthly reporting on systems Availability and of SLA targets -Facilitate monthly SLA meeting with Service providers and the business.

Informative environment

Supervisor for a very fast paced and demanding acquisitions department of 18 agents.On a daily basis a plan of action will be communicated by myself to the entire team and prioritizing the service level agreement to be metMy greatest lesson was having a contingency plan in case there were system or technical issues as we are expected to provide a sterling service and meet our set targets. I thoroughly enjoyed the incentive structures and Marathon projects in an effort to double the targets set and rewarding the participants.Interacting with walk in clients that might be irate and efficiently resolve and retain them within our client base.The most challenging was to always be decisive and assertive .There is a number of training sessions that are carried out monthly to keep staff updated on new procedures and events that may be scheduled for team building activities.

Cons: Being on standby in case of emergencies

Excellent learning curve indeed

Tracker is got lots of great people working there, been an administrator and an allocator of work to the agent makes me more involved in everything like work will come I will give to an agent to load if is not clear I will need to go and clarity to them which means my patience my be always on point, if work from our external partner is not clear I need to call them and try to get clarify in a very claim meaner. Been an means management is constantly on you door because if work is behind they push you to push the co workers. I have learned to love to work with people understand that we don't work or learn the same. I enjoy working with people, helping clients and putting a smile on their face. What challenging is month end when partners need to close their month books we have to push twice as much try and get agents to finish that months work, getting calls from partners, agents and management is just pressure.

Always pushing my self

A Typical day in Trackers logistic department is very fast past because of AB and SL rates that need to be maintain, So accuracy as well as speed are key in our positions not only for the rates that need to be maintained but also to get our customers services and installed before our competitors do, this does not happen on our own we need to have contacts with our branches and fitment centers and technicians in order to see who can assist. what I enjoy most is when the request from clients are not standard and they in remote arrears. I can pus myself

Great learning experience

Working at Tracker gave me a wealth of experience in customer relationship building and maintenance. A typical day entailed frequent contact with my assigned business customers attending to their requests and queries ranging from technical investigations to finance queries and everything in between.

Pros: Great colleagues made for a great work environment

Great learning opportunity

My typical day begins with face to face clients calls at dealerships and broker visits. Doing presentations on product offering to brokers. Inbetween attending to customer queries and providing quotations. In the afternoon I would be in the afternoon responding to emails and forward planning for marketing events. What I enjoy the most is actively engaging with my business partners in my allocated portfolio. Educating them on my product offering and doing presentations. I have learned alot in the insurance broking space regarding regulations and in the dealership space how second gross is vital for profitability especially in our current economic state. The most challenging aspect is educating the consumer that insurance , however not a tangible item is very important to have over and above luxury items.

Excellent Company to work for

When I started at Tracker the company provided intense traung for a month . My product knowledge and system knowledge was was excellent as i achieve a pass mark of over 90% for every assessment. The work environment was welcoming and I felt at home from day 1. I reach my targets daily and always put my name forward to assist with overtime. I alway had an excellent relationship with my manager, supervisors and team leaders and my fellow team members. We were really like a close family.

Pros: Acceptance as an individual. Very supportive.
Cons: Room for growth was limited in the department

Learning Curve

receiving other departments responsibilities Handling unnecessary/faulty workload unable to communicate with the outside world like family expected to work on off day as its scheduled standby unable to take leave when necessary have to wait for other employees
