I was groomed by the company

I had the previllage of joining the company as a casual & worked my way up to became permanent,passing that to become a store SUPERVISER then to become a store manager.I believe in grooming & also equiping your team with training to gain knowledge to deliver excellent level of service.Motivation also play a very high role in building an oil running team.I am a hardworker & i lead by example.

Great learning curve

Working for truworths has thought me lots of great things about the industry it's self about how to approach customers good customer service and how to conduct my self as a professional and also self respect in order to respect the others how to deal with different people as colleagues

Since I have been with the company I have learn a lot of things

I think that I'm now well groomed with retail I have a knowledge of many things what I need is a company that will appreciate my in put by not under paying me

Sales consultant, provide customer service

Im working very hard to see the company growing;i always meet deadlines,im loyal and able to work as individual and un supervised as well as a team...always contribute in ideas that could lead the company in a continued success.

Pros: The company is a leading retail in SA,working for Truworths is awesome u learn everyday and u meet different people and it teaches you how to work with different people easy and difficult once.
Cons: We working less hours which leads us in earning small salary

Excellent learning curve

Working at truworths has been fun and challenging at the same time. On a typical work day, we call customers to collect cash as we are debt collectors for truworths accounts. We are target driven and work on meeting benchmark. What I like is that we being measured by the collectometer to see the best collector as a result we get incentive quarterly provides you performed good. We have healthy competition to inspire us and wonderful gifts rewards. The only problem is that the growth opportunities are very scarce as one is always open to grow and looking for greener pastures. I have learned to persevere and to be patient. Furthermore meeting deadlines was the most aspect I find challenging due to not all the days are productive but one still need to meet required target.

Manager

Former store caretaker and currently I am assistant store manager, I am a team worker and respect my colleagues and consider their advise, I learned that to achieve a goal, one has as a teamwork. I truly love more especially the sales consultant and customer services. The challenge I experience as a caretaker is the stock loss, store turnover and custometer which place a burden and also not business

Professional approach to challenges

I am a well rounded professional who contribute to the team as outlined by rules and procedures.I have a diverse approach to life which enables me to look at any challenge from it's merit. I always create and believe in growth of every one and therfore I am passionate about developing my team in every aspect of their role. I am also a champion of instilling self belief within the team which enables each one of us to discharge his/her duties without direct supervision.l am a leader who is open minded and who accept criticism and very honest in taking the responsibility where due.l am a disciplinarian who also applies fairness as outlined by disciplinaryl code of ethics.

Superb learning at truworth

I have learn much more at work,including training i got at truworth such as costumers service,communication skills,Cash desk service,Banking an stock room supervisor training,I enjoy being working with my colleagues that makes me who am now.

Very good in customer service and management skills.

I work most of the days in a week, i do have off days but im always ready to work should there be any need, im alway a phone call away. In terms of my relationship with my co-workers, i understand that people are not the same so i try to accommodate everyone at all times regardless of their how one in terms of attitude and moods individually, and i have learned that as much as we work as a team, i do what i was hired for individually, i also learned not to make friends in any working environment, that's my way of avoiding conflicts when reporting misconduct should there be any within the working premises, since i believe in honesty, i enjoy solving problems, i believe it shows progress and thats a sign of a winning team/company and lastly the most challenging aspect of this job is giving my all to find that its not being appreciated. It discourages one sometimes.

Pros: Solving problems all day long, good store keeping and good communication skills.
Cons: Standing all day.

Love what i do.

Serving customers and goes their exstra mile for them.I love to work with my team learn everyday and help where I can,I relieve my manager on her off days and weekends,i enjoy what I do and have learn a lot from doing admin,scanning in stock and receiving them,scanning out of stock also unpacking stock.I help staff with merchandise of departments.The challenge everyday is to push for sales open new accounts and to drive turnover to deal with customers,staff,headoffice everyday.
