Good career development

Very challenging job, colleagues are friendly and professional. I have learned a lot with regard to research. I enjoy reading and expressing myself a lot. The most challenging aspect of this job is that one has to adapt to different approaches to research in a very short space of time.

It has been a great opportunity for me to exercise responsibility.

I work 6 hours each week and the course coordinator is very easy to work with. However, I do my duties only on Tuesdays and Fridays. This opportunity has definitely built my interpersonal, leadership and public speaking skills. I enjoy the responses I get from the students I tutor.

Pros: The flexible time schedule which allows me to dedicate some time to my own academic commitments.
Cons: Sometimes students don't pitch for one-on-one consultations.

Good working relationship

At Center for learning on evaluation and results-Anglophone Africa, a normal day involves administrative duties and a bit of finance on daily bases. We are five Junior Researchers recently started working for CLEAR-AA and I am the only one who is also assisting the Programme Administrative Officer with administrative stuff. I learned a lot about performance monitoring and evaluation, research and work that is done by Evaluators. I enjoy working on certain projects within five CLEAR-AA business lines and the most challenging of them all is the theory behind everything that CLEAR-AA is working on.

Pros: Good exposure to the field of monitoring and evaluation
Cons: Work is never finished and the pressure is massive

I was just a student, all the money I received or use in thia review were in line with the stipends I used to receive as à student.

Pros: It is challenging and encoursges one to mastet a lot of differing theories.
Cons: Its mostly academic and lacks industrial practical experience

Good learning environment as one is exposed to wide engineering facets.

Create a methodology for investigating a particular problem. Plan an experiment, design apparatus, select instrumentation, manufacture necessary equipment that is needed for the experiment. Conduct experiments, collect data, analyse data and discuss results. Perform simulations to compare to experimental results.

Wits University is a good workplace where one can be able to learn and gain experience in the field that you are in. It gives one an opportunity to explore and interact with executives and gives one an opportunity to explore

I have a good relationship with my subordinates and co-workers.

It is a greasure pleasure working at the University. We have a very dynamic team. , from highly respected reasechers to highly skilled artisans. I have a good relationship with my subordinates and colleagues.

Pros: There are lots of study opportunities and the university offers a variety of courses that you can choose from.
Cons: The bearocracy within the division sometimes delays service delivery
