Working for Woolworths is a great experience,the company looks after their employees and they offer employee benefits as well. Most of the staff members are easy and fun to work with however the culture raisins a problem for some.management is always available to support and encourage the staff.like any other work,the customers are not always friendly and understanding however employees get training to deal with the issues

I am willing to learn and I have good communication I work as a team and I am willing to help others I like to learn more and I have good service towards customers, I enjoy working with people who are willing to learn, I treat them well, I have long service on my current job and I've been rewarded with different award for customer satisfaction

Have learned to work with dufferent people and it has encouraged me to grow.

My typical day at work is when theres no customers in the middle of the month everything is slow. I have a good relationship with my colleges we respect each other, we inform each other when we are not going to be on the sales floor for sometime. I have learned not to bring my personal things at work and learned from doing IBT requests, to check for items if other stores for customers to knowing that the customer is always right and to dealing with their complaints and learned to always give the customers the platform to voice their complaints and not fighting with the customers. The challenging aspects are when the shop is full anything can happen from stock being stolen or customers purses are stolen and closing late when we have massive sales.

My name is Prudence Manana,while working at Woolworths I've learned how to work as a team work,Mostly I've learned how to be patient with our customer's.The relationship between me and my co worker's was really fine because if we had issues we would just sort it out..what i enjoyed the most was to learn new things from different departments.The most challenging aspects was when is month end and we had to work under a lots of pressure but still I handled it like pro.

Great For fastrack development and

Great opportunity for development,work well with peers there is good working relationship and the culture with I. The professional environment is what keeps you coming back and the organisation is guided by there ogerisational values Customs,work ethics and this becomes your way of life . It's really a great evioment to work In as there are clear objectives In place and communication Chain across the different leave is of a transpant one. Also the fact there there is a "open door policy and custom within the environment and that allows too. For Innovation and newness . Also the zero tolerance for poor customer service is what keep you customer orientated

Lots of learning opportunities

* new challenges with queries * daily training to staff on new policies or procedures * planning, organizing daily tasks * work mostly the same on a daily basis * some days no challenges * meeting new customers and meeting their needs * receiving compliments on a daily basis is the best feeling ever * working hours is 40 hours a week bt, mostly 10 hours a day and 5 days must be worked * being promoted is not that easy as you have to go threw a 2 to 3 day interview
