Good company

Actom power transformers is a very good company. But since covid 19 things are not good company is going down as is a mafacturing company there is no orders from the clients

Excellent work experience

Time management. Communication skills being able to communicate with of all employees of all cultures multilingual. Problem solving abilities adhere to any employee who needs help and assistance. Team work. The ability to have sense of emergency. Putting employees first. Professionalism. Great relationship with the employees. I have learnt time Management, being professional and patient. I enjoy the humor of the people. Nothing was challenging about my job did the same thing for 4 years. Now I want to be challenged and grow.

Mechanical fitteing is generally a great career, you get opportunities to grow your career daily and advance your experience will all challenges that u come across daily It gives you that excitement which always gets you to take pride in your job

Excellent

Actom is one of the biggest company which one can learn a lot about electrical product, we deal we most kind of electrical appliances and machines and we always work as a team to meet the requirements of the company. Supervisors and co workers always make sure we have a good communication amongst us and that we have a positive way of solving or rather working out on a problem, the most challenging part is only when one doesn’t understand how to interpret a schematic drawing.

Cons: Normal working hours is 40hours a week

Spirit killing environment

Management does not appreciate lower level employees and they take advantage of people. They force you to do things you were not hired to do. They try to exploit employees and no room for growth.

The most exceptional experience

Coming from being Office Manager/PA to the Branch Manager of a corporate company, excellent interpersonal skills as well as an astounding team player was an order of the day.In order for me to have run my admin team successfully a huge amount of discipline was required of me. Planning events such as annual golf days, year end functions, as well as hosting Directors with breakfast mornings was part of my portfolio but it was done with the greatest of ease and commitment because I had a passion for my job.

Pros: I worked close to home and my co workers were very co operative,this changed all the time so there was no room to be stagnant
Cons: Commission was very difficult to earn because the focus of the sales team was not on high margined items.
