Review
I am actively involved in the Implementation & review of IT Service Continuity & Disaster Recovery for Altron spanning across multiple business entities. As an input into the ongoing BCM Program my role was to ensure that all the IT & DR related items are taken care of. This includes a host of systems, controls and complexities. Documentation and ongoing rehearsals where my primary objectives, there are other key tasks that I performed such as gap analysis, impact analysis and ongoing implementation of IT infrastructures across various facilities and countries. I had the privilege to design the DR and test the entire stack successfully, having done several DR tests and achieving resilience that has never been done before.

Great Experiance

Excellent learning curve
I’ve had an opportunity to learn a lot of new skills since my employment under my current division. And while I appreciate all the knowledge, skills and good work relationships formed with my current team, I still aspire to grow my knowledge and be exposed to far beyond what I already have been. I do not take for granted all the other work opportunities I’ve been given in the past and currently, hence I would like to not only learn if given this opportunity, but put to great use my current knowledge and skill accumulated throughout my entire career up to so far. I look forward to investing my time and dedicating myself to growing my career as well as adding value to the post I’ll be entrusted to.

Good working environment
On a typical day as a sales consultant I would receive atleas about 30-40 calls per day assisting clients that would like to apply for new contract. My relationship with my co-workers I would say is very good because we able to share important information, we do everything as a teamwork and respect each other. What I have learned as a consultant is to always try and put yourself in the customer's shoes in order to understand the situation the client is in. What I enjoy is me being able to help or resolve the customer's queries on a day to day basis. My challenging aspects is when the company is unable to provide me with all the resources I need to be able to do my work.
