I've learned alot about mining,an experience which I never had,and as for challenges it's only about safety and co-operation between our team, the only challenge for me is growth of which opportunities are not presented in most cases, I hold a diploma in HRD which was obtained at VUT and currently looking for an opportunity to acquire as much experience as possible in the HR field

I am hard working individaul whose always ready to take on a new challeges.

Duties Carry out survey work every day which includes surveying stopes, issuing survey notifications and stop notifications, Monthly measurements in stopes and development ends .install grades on an incline and flat development ends. Produce holing instructions effectively. Check surveying and profiling and Experienced in the CAD environment (Micro Station) Mine design . Responsibilities I am responsible for updating daily offset on the electronic sheets (plans), also making sure safety of my team and equipment. Doing mini risk assessment and minor safety meeting prior commencing working. we have a great team we assist one another . I enjoy working with people from different back ground toward a common gaol of achieving the best result.

Pros: you get to explore a lots of thing and their development is way to go.
Cons: knocking off time,you will never get it you can work 12hours a day.

team work and respect are important in an organization. saving lifes and jobs is the primary goal. safety is non-negotiable. reaching target in terms of production is the daily goal to be reached. love care and respect is the culture of the orginization

Excellent experience

Ive got experience with the Deswik CAD System and Deswik Schedular system AutoCad Modular as well as SAP system I worked different department to gain experience withing the mining industry

Good Company to work for

Working at Anglo American Platinum has really improved my work experience. I've learned alot in working field (working together as a team we could reach our common goal and respect people am working with).Respecting the company and people I work with has made my day to day at workplace to be good. Challenges I met were when i had to work under pressure and long hours. Relationship with my co-workers is good, I've learned to accept people with their differences. Team work its the most strongest weapon in a company.

Dedicated individual who believes in team work and leading by example

My current job requires the daily analysis of risk based on occurrences and leading indicators. My co workers are made up of multi disciplines all working as a team to achieve set goals. I have learnt that in life there are more than one way to address an issue, its critical to consider all view points before making a decision. I enjoy the broad range of knowledge accessible working in a multi disciplinary environment. A major challenge is keeping of with change management in the work place.

Excellent Hard Working

I am a hard working person who likes to communicate and co-workers and help one another. Working together as Team with co-workers make our job very easily and asking question to the superior if you don't understand something makes my job very easy , I become very proud when co-worker is struggling and I give them help with job where its necessary I have learned a lot when I was studying at University of Pretoria , and again while I was still working at Anglo American Platinum Mines. I enjoyed when I was working at Twickenham Mine and was chosen to join the Rebuilding of Machines Team, there where I was doing all orders and planning on the other hand , doing follow-up of all requisitions and purchase order numbers ,deliveries of all spares I was ordering. It was challenging and while I was studying with University of Pretoria doing Programme In Engineering Management Course.
