I’m very passionate and play a meaningful role in the delivery of viable projects through development of systems, implementation and monitoring of key strategic business objectives of an organisation, mining companies, processing operations and the mine's Life Expansion Project that include: • Social Management Plan and Performance Strategy, • Complaints and Grievance Procedure, • Community and Social Risk Register/s, • Stakeholder Engagement Plan (Identification and mapping) I’m currently the Social Risk & Impact Specialist at Anglo American’s Rustenburg Process Operations. I’m leading a team of 6 direct reports within the Social Performance Department and we are supporting four operations (Smelting operations, Acid Converter Plant, Base Metals Refiners and Precious Metals Refiners) to maintain their socio-political license to operate (SPLTO) over the Life of Operations and support the delivery of the business objectives.

Real people real difference
Day shift from 7am to 5pm. Short commute from home to work. Working with different teams. Process improvements. Company is driving culture change however senior management still does not portray this. Racial bias.

Development and Growth
There is growth and development, but I'm currently working as a fixed term contract I'm working long hours 6am to 15PM including Saturdays I'm getting along with my co-workers as I like to work in team, I'm learning new things everyday I just love what I'm doing The most challenging job is acting on the position of the supervisor in where you are not trained for or to work with a difficult boss

Great development
Interesting, challenging and requires a lot of knowledge. working three shift, Morning, Afternoon and Night. Love developing co-workers and seeing the prosper and flourish. we are one team I have learned to live by the values, show respect to co-workers, the value of a transformed organization, how to drive manage change. culture transformation. how to measure production and ensure that we exceed targets. plant optimisation. how to implement operational excellence. maximise plant availability hence production. to built synergy through the third alternative. I have learned to be innovative in order to keep up with the changing world. working safe. exceeding targets. I am being challenged by dealing with absents, employees who don't pull to same direction as the company ambitions. employees who sees the negative in everything and complains about everything without turning those negatives into positives, Employees who not believe in the power of positive thinking.
