Typical days at workplace are to capacitate department of health professional nurse on health related topic most commonly related to HIV Aids Sti & Tb(HAST). Providing technical support to Doh facilities with regards to patient care & management, Monitoring & Evaluation, ideal clinic service models and Skills and Files audits.

My experience at Anova Health Institute
Anova Health Institute is a big NGO that embraces diversity in wide spectrum, its passion to combat HIV/AIDS and TB in both children and adult, my work as a procurement officer is very interesting ,i procure all goods and services for the company and the hospitals and clinic, and the communication channels from my line managers and project managers is very effective in helping me to deliver the right quantity, quality of services required, I like negotiating with suppliers and it gives me joy every time I cut more than 200 000 costs for my company which has motivated me to be accountable and transparent in my dealings, the most challenging part is when the managers give me powers to make their decisions of which should it fail, I will have to do damage control, but I always emerge victorious, my typical day would be checking emails in the morning, prioritizing my to do list of the day, making orders, paying invoices, registering assets, doing some shopping for the offices.
Pros: it is an atmosphere that allows grows
Cons: NGO are funded by USAID which can cut its budget anytime like now with the new President Donald Trump

My experience with my current company
My day to day duties includes, Petty Cash approvals, transport allocation, budget tracking. managing the finance, procurement and transport department. It is great working for Anova Health Institute as an NGO that is working together with the department of health to help reduce TB and HIV infections, It is really interesting to see the impact that we are doing in the community. When I joined Anova Health, my financial expertise and people management were not as polished as they are now. It was challenging at first as I was from the FMCG and sales industries as I was used to focusing more on the revenue and the bottom line.
Pros: Getting to know the impact that NGO's and department of health is doing to HIV infected and affected people. Being exposed to the budgets and being able to assist other line managers with costings and budget monitoring
Cons: Emotionally draining as we get to see the numbers of people infected and their sad stories and somtimes i feel bad when we are unable to assist community financially due to budget constrains

Excellent Learning Curve through Tailings and Worshops
A accurate pictures of my Job or my project overall. -I am managing a team of 48 Councillors who provide HIV Testing Services. -it's a very nice field to work on because as you interact with the Clients coming to test you end up getting to learn so many things that u did not knw. So it a very good place to learn new things daily. -I have a very good relationship with my counsellors because I told them that since they are udults and they knw why they are here then they will behave and remember what they are here for. -I enjoy their company. And I make them feel comfortable and enjoy their work. -Most typical work day is when we r working in a Campaign and u find that its too fool but services has to be rendered as well -The Challenging part is when we work in places which are not too safe. Like Hostels. Brothels,tarvens and in the Community Open spaces where sometimes people just starts a fight and we end up being as risk since the place is not safe to work while they fight.
Pros: Great opportunity for us to study further - Our Company provides that.
Cons: Yeah working long hours and working or holidays and weekends.

Anova health institute a non profit organization funded by the USAID
Anova is one innovative company,it has variety of activities. Any day at Anova comes with new ideas on how to improve on our daily basis at a workplace As for my co-workers we value team work very much as it works on our advantage to bring out a good outcome on what we do With Anova I have been groomed well with confidentiality,team work,good communication skills ,listen skills,events management and presenting skills and hard working At Anova I enjoy trainings/workshops they offer us now and then...updates on new things we work with. Most challenging part it's travelling for long hours to reach our workplace and we rely on appointments since we work at facilities dealing with different people with different characters and still have to manage them.
Pros: Hard worker but hope it pays off at the end
Cons: Over time but no payment for it

Senior Financial Manager
I have been a financial manager for over 15 years. In various industries and has build quit e a solid reputation in the industry. I currently oversee the entire accounting and financial function within the organization. I also manage a team of 15 of which 3 are direct reports ( Accountants) and a business Manager. My experience is vast from cost accounting, budgeting, reporting, debtors and creditors book,forecasting, dashboard reporting, annual audits , financial statement preparation . Monthly , quarterly and annual reports .System improvements. Process improvements, new ways of working. Pros: Driven, adjust quickly to change. Adeptable, Accountable, Assertive, Eager to learn.
Cons: Hunger for development and also sharing skills and knowledge

Excellent learning oppertunities exposure to new challenges
I am a hard worker who aims at doing more than i am required to do. I am very punctual i pay attention to detail.I am striving to keep the client happy and satisfied with the service that i render.I am excellent in patient care.Reasuring the patients giving health education and attending to the patient holistically.I word hard at applying the batho pele principles.I educate patients about their rights and i reassure them in the task of taking responsibility of there own health

Excellence growth opportunity
I work in an NGO which has a corporate identity and run professionally. We support the department of health nationally with health systems strengtheningEvery day I am 16hours short due to work load and complexity of the projects/ business unit that I support. I work in a fast paced, stressful and output driven environment which requires flexibility and resilience. I love the challenge, there's no dull moment.I report to the HR Executive Manager. I stay in Pretoria and I'm being transferred to Sedibeng district which is 189km away from my home.I need to be closer to home hence I am sending my application for this job. I'm a positive person who is a leader with good communication and interpersonal skills. I enjoy building healthy relationships with my clients. I have learned a lot about HIV/Aids, TB management, key population and understand the profile of Clinicians, recruiting health workers.

I thoroughly enjoy researching and creating engaging content that empowers people to know more about sexual health and how to take better care of themselves and others in their community. The organisation employs a group of diverse and highly-skilled people who are all united by the drive to help create a healthier and more informed continent.
Pros: Great diversity and professionalism from all tiers within the organisation.
Cons: Unfortunately, there isn't much scope for advancement from my current role as head of content creation.

Good place for growth
Working with different people on daily basis strengthens my interpersonal skills. Being a down to earth person helps me get along with my colleagues. Confidentiality is our middle name in my line of work as we capture patients files daily and they trust us not to speak about their business to strangers or even family members.
Pros: Great opportunity for growth
Cons: Too much workload
