High demand job where dedicated quality work is expected, a lot of interaction between work colleagues as well as between different departments. The most challenging aspect of the job is to achieve high savings and to be up to date with all aspects of each order that falls within my responsibility.A lot of my work is spent ensuring that contractors are meeting their contractual obligations.

Safety is highly important and team work

Safety is important in this field of work and team work IS IMPORTANT IN THIS FIELD OF WORK. TEAM WORK IS ALSO VITAL. DOING IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME IS ALSO IMPORTANT

Too much knowledge to harvest and also an excellent learning curve.

Being ant this company has equipped me with a lot of knowledge and has also taught me how to communicate and work with others effectively. I gained a lot of experience on conveyer systems and mechanical drives. I also gained basic knowledge on project planning, maintenance reliability and also basics on SAP.

Pros: Great opportunity for professional growth

Excellent learning curve

being at gosebo wa mogale made me realise the important of safety of myself and others...my every day is very simple ...keep the plant running .what im enjoying the most is to see my company succeding in all aspects of everyday..remember hard work and dedication pays off at the end of the day

Being ambitious

I enjoy working at Arcelormittal South Africa. Everyday there is something new to learn and do. We are a good team who motivate and encourage each other, however there comes a time where we have to leave the nest and fly to do and become someone greater. I've learnt how to work well with people, communicate effectively and efficiently and most importantly how to work under pressure and manage my time. I've grown as an individual and professional and would like to continue doing so

Good company to start your career

Not good for career growth, employment equity is such a challenge with management and some executives not educated to create a professional work ethic. Preference for development is in most cases given to certain race groups and promotions always sidelined non whites

Excellent learning curve

I had a nice learning cure cause everyday was something new so wevwould do our daily preventative maintenance during that time we we would get a call to attend a breakdowns somewhere and every fault was different mechanical and electrical

The Company needs to attend more to giving their learners a good amount of experience amount of exposure as it is hard to find a permanentjib without the correct amount of experiencepost apprenticeship..

Hard worker

Always willing to learn ,I would love to join a company that has growth and encourages workers to go to school. I learned how to be a great leader and how 2 work in groups ,be a team player as well.i enjoy challenges learning new things evryday.

Excellent

Great company to work for. safety is at the heart the organisation. the culture at mittal is very good, the buddy system employed make working there really safe although is is not a friendly environment. Management is always on the work floors trying to ensure that employees are coping with through this tough times that the company is facing. this kind of care toward employees is what i really like about ArcelorMittal.

Cons: Internal skills development is minimal
