I enjoy working at Arcelormittal South Africa. Everyday there is something new to learn and do. We are a good team who motivate and encourage each other, however there comes a time where we have to leave the nest and fly to do and become someone greater. I've learnt how to work well with people, communicate effectively and efficiently and most importantly how to work under pressure and manage my time. I've grown as an individual and professional and would like to continue doing so

Fantastic Company towork at. Competetie market in the steel industry. With over 34 years’ experience in production and Maintencence Management environment, I have acquired skills in safety environment and quality. The skills and experience have enabled effective and effienctly solve operational and maintenence problems. Initiative to improve Boiler outages by improving operational methods and maintenence strategies.Energy initiative to improve boiler gas efficiencies and increase elelctricity power generation to decrease Eskom bill. Reduction of overtime, through change in work schedule. Provide inspired leadership for the organization., Reduction in staff to implememnt rationalisation within the company structure.Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions. Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.Assist HR with recruiting when necessary.Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.

Great Exposure
A typical working day entails dealing with queries, preparations for reporting, resolving audit issues and addressing compliance corcerns.Within the P&L environment all departments are interlink and we have to work together like a well oiled machine. The most challenging aspect is the job insecurity and travelling from Krugersdorp to Vanderbijlpark daily

Excellent learning
During the start of the shfit we do safety meeting then we work as a team the relationship between us is so great and I have learn lot of things that I did not know and I really enjoy challenging my co workers to learn more from their side.

Excellent companie
When i first came at Arcelormittal i did not know I can learn so much from the management and employees but due to the attitude and good relationship we have i have learnt a lot and my career has reached a level i never imagened.Since I love challenges I always manage to deal them because I learn new thing/systems every week.I enjoy working with the whole team they make me grow and teach me a lot of things.
