I am a vibrant individual who is always eager to learn new things and produce excellent results and who is self-motivated, trustworthy, reliable, and a hard worker. I am prepared to work at any position and I have a good communication skills. I can work under pressure. I obtain life skills training at YMCA for work preparation and that’s where I done many things including behavior at work place, solving conflict, and many more I went to HUB Store for work training where I was introduced to storeroom, customer service, accounts and cashier. I am currently doing leanership program at ArcelorMittal where I am being exposed to a manufacturing and engineering field. In this program I have done many industry related stuff of which are being reflected by the METAL’S PRODUCTION: MANUFACTURING AND ENGINEERING Certificate (NQF LEVEL 2), and I am busy with NQF Level 3 of which I am willing to finish it and continue studying and gaining more experience in the field.

Goal Orientated
Great working industry with its pros and cons. Big industry with great working exposure and working with different people from different angles like engineering. Marketing, finance, projects. High learning and developmental working place. Enjoy doing my job because every project i work with it comes with its own challenges which are the best learning curve and development.

Socially dynamic and technically challenging
Company very good at training and grooming. But one reaches the ceiling too quick and things get very repetitive and mundane while growth is not offered.

Have worked as a workshop mechanic, foreman, workshop manager and fleet maintanance manager
Went through a full time training course in Automotive Engineering, majoring in motor vehicle mechanics; petrol and diesel. Acquired a national certificate and a class one certificate in motor mechanics. Have worked on a wide variety of makes and models of forklifts and other material handling equipment. Have attained spectacular skills in trouble shooting and diagnosis of machinery faults. Very good in hydraulics. Able to work under pressure and set targets even putting in more hours. I am a goal getter and am challenged by my output. A team player with strong negotiating skills.

2013 boff fire
Working in a steel company like arcelormittal is a good day to day challenge due to the heat I get to experience variety of complex faults and learn how important team work and prioritising jobs really is. Daily I do inspections on the plant and make sure I rectify the problems effectively, I also receive daily job cards to keep the plant in great working order. It is a great pleasure to work with great employees that learn from each other and provide feedback of what is going on on the plant more especially the changes happening whether it's safety wise or job description related.
Pros: I'm currently a senior working his way to be a master instruments mechanician
Cons: overtime is a given when working at a big company like mittal and standby duties is compulsory

Isolate before doing any job
Isolation is a verry important part of any job no matter how small or easy the job may seem. Whenever doing any job get it right the first time to save time and cost.

Challenging environment
Work for a department with multiple functions. Supply gas and electricity with the works. Produce steam and electricity. Supply air.responsible for water purification and distribution. Manage Air Products account, they supply oxygen nitrogen and compressed air. Responsibilities include managing production and maintenance teams, composing energy budget, managing projects.
Pros: Challenging and rewarding
Cons: Long hours low pay
