Very high paced industry

Working day could be anything from 10-14 hours Manage 160 staff over 5 various shifts. We have a very respectful bond, where we appreciate each others position I have learnt to deal with various people from our wide spectrum of cultures in our country. I love managing people and assisting them in achieving there goals and making them better people. The challenge that not only the position demands but meeting our customers expectations as well.

Excellent learning curve

Learnt a lot from the company but I feel that they need to improve on compensation and employees benefits. More black people should be employed at management positions and be well compensated. Company culture is excellent and management is hands and supportive which also opens concerns of exploitation of subordinates because they are not well compensated.

Pros: Great systems and tools to enable one to excel in performing duties.
Cons: long hours without proper compensation

Good company with a experience

My job was good i feel very bad when the contract ends i love my job very much i even make new friends that teach me more about merchandising .working for clover its was like a dream come through i enjoy seeing customers happy about the product the sale i even gain experience of being a merchandiser

Exellent working expirience in admin

My daily duties was to update eft,'s, cash shorts and product shorts spreadsheet, capture invoices, call shops for outstanding Grvs.. I worked very well with my team and individually. I've learned how to handle administration duties of a big company like Clover, and I managed to overcome every challenge by working hard and making sure I do all my duties in time.

Looking for a more challenging position

• My excellent organizational skills along with my ability to meet deadlines will be a great asset to your organization. I possess a demonstrated ability to determine best practice procedures for a warehousing team leader, dispatch team leader and production team leader, such as; stocktaking and stock control, data capturing, processing of invoices, JDA / WMS/ startrek system knowledge, good customer service skills, meeting health & safety requirements of the warehouse, well versed with warehouse management processes.

Run the ledger Balance the cash and stock Make sure all reckons are done Send daily management reports Have a good team spirit manager are only as strong as the people underneath him Working as a team you can achive much more Every day has a new challenge fixing them is a good feeling Need to get the departments to get to work togheter and do give accurate figures at all time

Highly demanding environment

I work as the Management Accountant at Clover's largest Branch. The environment is highly demanding, as my job is not merely financial reporting, but also finding solutions on how to reduce Branch losses. I manage a team of 40 staff, whom all have their different personalities and aspirations. I've created an environment where my door is always open. I invite my team to talk to me about anything. Their concerns, dissatisfaction and challenges. This position has taught me to be more of a hands on manager. Yes it's important to empower the staff by trusting their abilities, but I'm accountable for their work, and as their manager, it's as good as work I've done myself. I love a highly demanding environment. A job where you are not afforded an off day. An environment where you need to be switched on every day. I also love my job as it allows me to think outside the box in finding solutions.

Pros: Constantly learning
Cons: Dealing with unions and strikes.
