Developed and skilled
The department improved my working and communication skills, developed me to become a better and loyal employee, taught how to be professional and ethical and how to align my self with company policies. The difficult part of the job was to be expected to work overtime while is not being payed for and expected to reach targets while other employees are dragging their feets and gave me too much work load.

I am a hard worker
I am a dynamic individual with a grown of personality, I am able to work under pressure to meet deadline. I can provide verbal and non verbal communication With the experience I have I am able to work hard without supervision. I have knowledge of office procedures, policies and regional regulations. I good in solving problem that can affect my working environment and that restrict me from producing better result. I am a friendly person who connect easily with people and able to make a good working relationship

My day at Tygerberg
My day is fillled with arranging meetings, diary management, data analysis, dealing with patients and clinicians who walk into the office with various requests and complaints. I work very well with all my colleagues in the departments of H.R, Finance, etc as we have a good understaning and a level of trust in me to get the job done. The interaction with colleagues and patients is what I enjoy the most when I can assist them with what they require. During my day every day is never the same there is always something new or something new you do. The most challenging part of the job is working for two very demanding offices with two managers who have two very different management styles.

Excellent Learning curve
Invite and evaluate quotations for goods and services. Prepare quotations for bid adjudication committee. Ensure compliance with legislation and policies at all the bid committees Administration of quotations and taking minutes at the bid committees when required and adviser at bid evaluation meetings. Prepare relevant submissions for approval. Monitor Supply Chain Compliance. Compile Comparative schedules. Maintain supplies database. Manage and update register’s regularly and report weekly and monthly Ensure all Procurement of goods and services are in line with accordance with delegations and directives Data Base (CSD) I get on very well with my co-workers and i have learned alot about the functions of finance and supply chain management. i always enjoy the work environment, i always work efficiently and efficiently. The most challenging aspect of the job is dealing with suppliers, with different personalities everyday, some tend to be very rude and we must keep being professional.
Pros: excellent interpersonal skills including identifying problems, handling conflict situations, listening skills, facilitating confident decision-making and presentation
Cons: Being impatient. I tend to want to get things done quickly and efficiently, so when I don't get a fast answer, or if others are delaying the process, I tend to lose patience. I am working on this by acknowledging others are busy and allowing people more time to get back to me.

Fast learner , able to grow and learn within the facility
My job include good communication skills, team work, fast leaner, customer care, batho Pele priorities. And is a good field where one would love to be , you learn everyday as you experience different things everyday from different patient , we working shifts and night is included as well . Is enjoyable industry the sad part of it is when coming to salary , the salary I am earning is not much to cover my expenses

Good learner
I am very intelligent when it comes to my job I'm a hard worker I am a supervisor of Finance section.Working long hours without getting paid. I am quick leaner. My job was challenged when the budget is not balancing and when the is under expenditure and underexpenditure

Great exposure
Theres a great balance between pracricial work exposure in the field and office paper work. Im working as an Environmental Health intern and carry out duties such as collecting water samples for analysis, waste management activities, and regular inspections at food premises... to name a few... in my office we are around 50 stafff... forming part of the BCMM staff... and we all work well together.. i particularly enjoy environmental health waste management at tbe landfill sites.. which we monitor reguarly... and as much as it is a challenge, i enjoy being involved in something that saves or changes our environment for the good.
Pros: Great work exposure
Cons: Highly challenging work load in December
