My job required that I have a flexible life, in that we had to travel to different towns to carry out the stock taking task. Me and my team mates had to work as a team at all time, tackling different aspects of the task individually so that we could cover more work at the end of the day. We pulled together. It took a lot of positive energy and courage to report to work daily, as carrying heavy boxes and standing all day was strenuous. This experience taught me about work-ethic, concentration and organizational skills. It was fun working with a team that kept each other motivated and I enjoyed seeing different towns.

Dynamic, fast moving and leader is fashion retail. Days are always different as a buyer you are being guided by the sales trends and what is happening in the market place. Relationships are key as our roles and responsibilities are inter linked as buyers and planners, assistants and general managers, marketing and operations. Have learnt that the most fundamental thing in an organization is communication,, process management, stakeholder management and most importantly, its ALWAYS about the customer. Range building process, traveling abroad to view fashion trends and developing these tends into SA market. The rand/dollar exchange has been the most challenging factor, as importers.
Pros: Greg exposure in predicting sales trends, good market analysis of consumer behavior.
Cons: Can be stressful due to fast moving pace of business.

Willing to do any job which will be offered
Hi, im Mgobeni Benayi im looking for job where by i can do any job which u can give me because im dreaming big for my future where i will also love your company and i also know how to work with other due to control my attitude and emotions where i also know how to manage time and how to prepare my self, i would also like to support my family, where there's my brother who is in university where i will also like to help him due to finacial problems I am a person who always knowing who i am and where im from and how to change my life, im a person who like fun and excitment always at home and while im at work. Im dreaming big about my life and my family, and also all the people staying at my community and i take long time to become angry where by i not short tempered. Good learning opportunities
I started as a casual work hard and got a permanent position where I worked as a head cashier responsible for reconciling all store report and store banking I was then promoted as a junior manager at customer service department so I wanted something more challenging and I was promoted to store admin manager (store assistance mananger )

Excellent
edcon its a retail head office company ,where we process payment for retail employees ,capture their weekly store schedules, resolve the queries ,do the filling ,we capture their under banks and essure out their payslips if requested by the employee

I have learnt a lot
I didn't have a knowledge when I join the company but now I've learnt many things as cashier,stockroom associate,cellphone admin,bank leader and i became a department manager,store admin manager and i ended up as risk,control and stock admin manager.I enjoyed the part of setup a retail coz its where it shows you how much you lost for the past month.My challenge was when i received a lot of boxes and the budget is not allowing me to call staff in i have to work on the number of staff i have in the stockroom.
Pros: I achieved a lot in 2013 I became department manager but under casual,i got a permanent position same company as store admin manager and now i am working as risk,control and stock admin manager.
Cons: I dnt mind working more hours to make my job perfect.

I love challenge cause it help me grow
Am that person who is good when dealing with customers and staff,i treat everyone with respect and I work with Edcon for 4 year now but I never have problems with anyone in the company

Good learning curve
Edcon is a good company to work for. They develop their staff its has it own academy. They have lot of incentives for staff motivation. I have never worked for any company before so I cannot compare it with any other company. 2017 October I will be 14 years with edcon.Edcon gave birth to me. I am who I am because of them. With the experience that I have I will do better with any other company. I want a new experience a new challenge.

Hard woker,patiant and enegatic
willing to learn and to be appointed as part of ur employee ,with all the work experience that I have in working in retail company made me to be strong and gave me a knowledge on how to work with people and how to treat different customers
