As you can see, I have had extensive vacation work experience in office environments, the retail sector and service industries, giving me varied skills and the ability to work with many different types of people. I love challenge cause it help me grow
Am that person who is good when dealing with customers and staff,i treat everyone with respect and I work with Edcon for 4 year now but I never have problems with anyone in the company

15 years retail experience
Edcon is the best company to work for, provide excellent training to staff and take care of the employees. It is the giant retail company and provide excellent service to customers. I have learned how to treat and to handle different people and to put people first in everything that I do because people are the heart of our business and what I can learn from them. I have enjoyed working flexible hours. Nothing is really challenging as each and every day has its experience.

I enjoy working with my current staff because we all know what team work means, my co-workers are excellent people very had working enthusiastic, i admire them coz they always bring a challenge. I have learned that two heads are always better than when it comes to my team, n i always enjoy been told everyday after a days work "well done team"

Good for getting experiance
its is good working at edcon then to stay at home atleast you get experiance for future employement.and you do learn some few things there ,the problem is that some times you stay at home for weeks not working

Change
Planning and organising are skills that I have gained and perfected in my years with Edcon. Every day I experience a new undertaking with my business partners and curve balls are constantly thrown my way. So my role is always to keep HR strategy at the back of my mind and mange those curve balls in line with strategy. People are at the heart of what I do, so I find myself having a number of conversations with different employees at all levels. Career path, poor performance, talent risks and managing overall culture concerns are my day to day talks with employees and managers. I constantly engage with my Colleagues and Centre of Excellence teams to assist me in managing these conversations and relationships. All of the above I enjoy tremendously as I see the value the value I add to my business.

Excellent learning experience
I have gained a lot from edcon because I was multi tasking, doing risk and safety duties with risk managers and learned a lot on customer experiences and I believe such experience will enable me to add value to any organization which will afford me an employment opportunity. The challenges I use to deal with was studying and working at the same time because I had to do late shifts and do school assignments on the other hand.i am glad with that experience because I have learned to manage and maximise time.

I'm am well trained within the collection role and have 2 year of great engagement
In a daily basis coming to work with different targets that the company sets us up for,we all as a team help and work together to achieve and most of all go over and above to exel, I have learnt that as much as we come from different backgrounds we can actively put our minds and come up with solutions as well as strategies to better the experience in our department. I enjoy the prize giving because I am always motivated and ensure that I will be recognised of my hard work and the challenge I experience is when a customer has no money wat soever for example is grieving a breadwinner and me having 2 ask for money which means I have to put my feeling aside and do my job well without forgetting empathy and sympathy

Best place to learn how retail companies work.
I am a very dedicated, self- motivated person who loves a challenge. One of my key strength is that I always give my best and have the ability to work well under pressure. I have good communication skills, team work and easy to learn or adopt to new tasks. I am currently working as a Scheduling Consultant. My responsibility is to make sure that 500 casual (weekly) and 300 permanent part timers (monthly) in more than 40 store are scheduled and assigned correctly.
