Growing environment

I joined Hollard without experience as my first employer placed me there to gain practical experience and offer Hollard with the services. I started working on SharePoint where i learned HTML and CSS, Application Support which deals with customer comunication, SLA and system issues and configuration. Hollard took me in after my contract ended and that's where i started learning SQL (T-SQL) where i was writing queries and stored provedures for system integration and SSRS (certified in SQL 70-761). I also learned how to create K2 Application (Certified in K2 Five), I am now enhancing a C# developed system and working on Restful API. I have taught myself AngularJS as it is used mostly in the market. I enjoy working on C# as it is challenging and provides a lot of growth and nice bugs to be fixed.

Pros: It's a great company to start at and you get to learn a lot of programming languages.
Cons: Salary is bad

Excellent Employment Opportunity

My current role is a frontline position in which I greet and assist clients physically and telephonically, maintain accurate client data analysis reports and provide general administrative support for my colleagues; I am proficient with computer skills and MS Word. I have exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills. I am well organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize effectively to manage conflicting demands in a work environment, I have strong time management skills and a very high degree of commitment to my work. I believe I would be the ideal candidate based on the fact I have had exposure within this industry and I am more than willing to do more extra work that will be given to me to gain more experience and grow towards the company I represent.

Career Advancement

I have been working for Hollard partner as Branch consultant for a period of a year and early this year I moved to one of the branches in Klerksdorp to lead the branch on temporary basis until the branch leader came back. It was a great opportunity as it helped me grow as an individual and unleashed my potential. I am now ready to move to another company to advance my career and build a sustainable career. I was recognized as a branch leader of the month and was given full support by management to be a better person and do well at the branch. I had a great team behind me and we treated each other with utmost dignity and respect. Getting new sales was the most challenging part of our daily job but admin and claims we excelled as a team. The most important part was customer service

I am willing to learn and also interested on the Job

I am a hardworking and self driven. I dedicate all my time to my work and I'm focused. I am a team player. I have been with Hollard for 4 years and i have worked in different Departments. from Financial services, Customer service, Field agent, Branch consultant and now I am a sales consultant. I committed myself in different project and i have fais credit through Hollard. I am willing to learn. i also did Admin and claims through Hollard. I have Matric and Diploma in Office Assistant.

Pros: great opportunity
Cons: it was a great opportunity for me as I learned a lot on this company. Being awarded as hard worker and also received incentives every month.

Hollard was a great company to work for I had to leave them because I was not able to be with my family. My work requires an individual to travel a lot.

Excellent

It is such a good experience working in the company because i meet new people everyday and interact with them, some are difficult clients so i like it as it makes me to grow and know how to handle them. I enjoy working with my team and it has to start with me to create a healthy working environment, we treat each other with dignity and respect and we always learn from each other. What i have learn is that everyone is important and must be treated as such. The most challenging aspects it's on the claim stage when customer want to claim within waiting period and say she was never told about the waiting period

Great learning platform

Am working with a team of 17 staff both as a consultant and assistant manager. I have the ability to work well in a team but soleminded too. I don't work hard but work smart. My achievements within the company speaks volumes. I am very assertive and take attention to details

Excellent corporate environment working space

Management skills to successfully perform the planning, directing, reporting and administrative responsibilities. Decision making skills concerning Information Systems policies, processes and procedures, with a proved. Completing tasks and/or projects within budget and on schedule. Managing multiple high priority initiatives in a fast paced highly technical environment. Relationship with workers was very good, from the staff that reported to me which is Helpdesk and Desktop support team and workers from other department, we were very understanding and patient towards each other. I have learnt to manage people fairly and I enjoyed being a team player mostly and awarding incentives to motivate the team. The challenges in IT doesn’t end, from time to time you will come across a new challenge that you will have to learn from it and record it for future referral.
