Eg Fast growth

Life at iiNet.. - A work day is extremely busy, i get to work and there are 450+ customers waiting on the line to be assisted. Have to try and manage call handling time to assist at least 50+ customers a day. I love working under pressure though. - I am very close with my co-workers. I am like a mother figure to them. I have the type of personality that gets along with anyone. - I have learnt how to be punctual. I have learned how to work in a team. I have learnt how to be independant. I have learnt great communication skills. - What i enjoy most is assisting people who doesnt know what to do. Providing awesome customer service and placing someone before me - Speaking to clients that are frustrated and angry and I have to remain calm

Great learning curve, learned a lot of new things.

The team I worked with comprises of 10 people. Our shift would start at 4am in the morning and we would take calls until 12:30pm. This was on a Monday to Friday shift.

Pros: Great learning curve
Cons: Hardly any opportunities for promotions

Adapt quickly to a new challenge

I am an energetic person who is always eager to learn and be trained. In my final year in high school I served as a Class Captain and had to learn fast how to interact with colleagues and superiors. I am a fast learner and willing to work hard even under pressure to fulfill any task put before me.

Iinet,merchants is a great company to work for. They make their employees feel safe,comfortable and at home the environment is very energetic and well organized.The only downfall of this PBO is that the working hours is not accommodating and growth is limited I feel that growth is important. I believe in change this is what drivers me working for iinet has been wonderful and limiting in the same breath so feel the experience has been some what bitter sweet.

Good environment

i working in a call center environment and for me its not the best place to be because i want to grow in ternms of IT. a little bit of IT here. my couileages are very nice and helpfully.i am enjoying but i see no growth.now that i am here i improved in communication skill,team work,understanding different cultural backgrounds and values.

Lots Of Young People

IiNet is a great work environment for people with lots of energy and enthusiasm. The environment and energies brought across by employees are great for people who like to socialize. Energy is needed because there are different shifts and some of the shifts are at uncomfortable hours. It really taught me how to be a Customer Service Representative.

Excellent learning curve

Company is now focused on numbers and not individuals. There is no room for growth and too many politics internally. There is no remuneration for hard work and people who are coasting along get paid more.

Customer Service

iiNet is a internet service provider which is Australian based company. Customers calls in for there billing query, payments and invoice extension. I also do support in which troubleshooting needs to be done for the customer before we send a technician out to the customers home. I also provide best customer service for the customers to receive a good feedback from them.

Pros: Great opportunity for growth
Cons: The hours are night shift
