My day to day responsibility at work
I supervise a team of 24 turret truck drivers who are responsible for Inventory counts, Pallet put-away and picking orders. I have a good relationships with my co-workers and those that directly and indirectly report to me. I also have healthy relationship with those I report to. In the years I spent working for Imperial Logistics I have learnt the importance of team work and sharing work information and responsibilities. I also learn how manage staff. Working in a warehouse for more than 5 years was a good and wonderful experienced I ever enjoyed. it is so good to work with internal staff and outside clients and customers and that was the most exciting part of working in the warehouse. The most challenge I ever experienced was when I was promoted to a senior position as I was supposed to lead the same colleagues that I used to share ideas.

Perishables department
It was hard working under cold conditions but once you get used to it you don't even notice the conditions you work under.one thing which was is working on a public holiday.I would recommend it to people with no intentions of one day being financially independent.
Pros: I stopped worked working there because it had never been my intention to work under cold conditions.
Cons: Can't enjoy weekends :)

Excellent learning curve
my typical day at work begins at 4am in the morning as i clock in at 6am and knock off at 6pm. the moment i get to work i find work waiting for me as the nightshift guys are knocking off. my relationship with my co-workers is somehow strictly professional because of the environment i work in. the environment is not healthy at all including with the management. there's no appreciation what so ever regardless of how much effort you put in your work. I'm just not a data capturer, i assist wherever I'm needed. i have learnt a lot as Imperial is a big company and always introducing new things, the most challenging aspects of the job is the hours, as i work 12 hours for three days day shift and 3 night

Good, hard working person
Imperial Logistics (Fast n’ Fresh) is a refrigerated company that runs all over South Africa and Botswana it has three main depot JHB, CPT, DBN and it specialises with frozen product, it is one of the best transport companies and it has sustainable contract with companies such as, Woolworths, Beacon Sweets, South African Reserve Bank, South African British Tobacco, NuLaid Egg and Cavalier Abattoir etc.
Pros: Strong interpersonal skills.
Cons: Energetic, lively, outgoing personality.

Excellent company to work at.
On a daily basis I would interact with drivers, contolers, managers and HR personnel. I have a brilliant relationship with co workers and management. I have learned that teamwork always give the best end result. I enjoyed the friendliness of my colleagues and the helpfulness. The most demanding part of the job are to get the right person for the job.
Pros: Company look well after its personnel.
Cons: Not a lot of opportunities in my working field

I worked at FNB at a ATM balancing clerk, then Media24 for 9 years and moved to Imperial
i AM HARD WORKING, ALWAYS GIVE MY BEST AND PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL. i GO TO THE LICENSE DEPARTMENT, CHECK emails, prepare the driver tasks, attend to licensing of vehicles. I work well with all my collegues, management, directors and alway willing to assist where I can. I enjoy my job and enjoy working with people and leanring new stuff at work and I am always willing to assist where I can. I work well under pressure and i thrive working under pressure. Keeping to dealines is the most challedsging with all the work i do on a d daily basng to study in further in the filed i am
