Excellent growth and learning

I manage a department of 22 employees. I oversee all training for the organisation Nationally and abroad. I effectively manage relationship internally at General Management Level and Director level as well as externally. I ensure systems are implemented to monitor and track training within organisation ensuring legislative requirements regarding to training is adhered to and implemented. I identify the training needs and trends and propose a action plan to address the gap. I'm involved with the training strategy in developing and fully responsible for implementing. I enjoyed all the success I had in the role one of it being establishing a learning academy. The most challenging part of my role was gaining trust in the department from stakeholders due to my predeceases short comings. This has turned, the value and respect for training is positively accepted by stakeholders

Great learning experience

My day at work is busy, put through applications for debt review of clients. Working proposals sent by debt counselors and processing any other correspondence from their offices. Requesting outstanding documents & payments from the debt counselor. We all work well together. We are all fun, but we work hard at the same time. I learned how easily it is for people to be consumed with debt. How to manage clients and debt counselors. That some people just live above their means. I have learned how to work and control my own expenses. Management is very supportive and works with us. Makes us feel as equals and considers our input and suggestions. Hardest part of the job is when clients goods gets repossessed. Most enjoyable part of the job is meeting deadlines on collections & completing the daily work before scheduled time.

Lewis group is huge company with branches all over south Africa

My responsibities on a daily basis was visiting different branches to do an inspection on branches operations which included admin compliance,expenses ,hr ,sales, fleet ,building, merchandising etc while also running other branches over the phone giving instructions and targets which I also have to report back to the general manager on the overall performance of the region usually took 30min lunch due to the nature of position it was very demanding reported at work 7:30 and left around 6pm mon-fri sat hours 7:30 -3pm had one day off a month , most of the staff were respectfully and understood what expected from them , my superiors very strict but they recognized a hard worker

Pros: There is promotions when your performance is outstandim R 6000 incentive for achieving sales targets
Cons: Long hours and working on holidays and a Iot of pressure

I have been in furniture retail for 27+ years

I am not employed I left the company on the 15/09/2018. I have sales experience I won a trip to France and Mozambique with sales competitions and lot of furniture and cash. I have been a cashier a stockclerk a salesperson as well as manager. I am hardworking and reliable I am Prepare to learn anything.

Pros: There was incentives in different job catagories like spar vouchers and incentives on achieving target. Company car and petrol
Cons: The hours was long and some circumstances was not always nice to work under.

I've learnt to understand more launguages

i am working long hours sometimes working on week end but its verry nice because i love inter acting with people.i have learnt to understand other languages as we are a mix in my team. The most chalenging part is when u meet a difficult client. but i have learnt to be patient,calm trying to make the customer understand.

Pros: not yet
Cons: i sometime long hours but luckuly they offered us transport,geting at home verry late.
