Excellent learning curve
Fast paced and deadline driven enviroment. Typical corporate environment. People achieve goals and are accountable for their work. Company benefits are better than the industry norm. Working for the company can be challenging but also rewarding depending on how you see yourself in the business.

Was excellent exposure and experience
I would work weekends only so there was always great amount of people shopping. Work generally would start with a quick briefing and daily target too be expected which was never below R450 000 p.d I was responsible for selling all electronics across the department and would help with customer queries, repairs and solutions. I have learned how to deal with people of all cultures, both with respect and made me more humble. Most challenging would dealing with 4 - 6 customers at a time on busy days, and while I can cope with pressure, customers don't really have the patience which was difficult to deal with at times.
Pros: Great learning environment for character and exposure too so many new technological products

My experience from Makro
The most challenging about my job at Makro was that I have to be fast at what am doing because the were so many people that needed to be helped by me, and that teached me how to managed time and consistency. As for relationship with co-workers was amazing because we were working together as a team. The most important important thing that i have learned is customer service and understanding customers.

Excellent
I like doing what I do because I get to meet people everyday and i also like entertaining people and interacting with them but I still need more because I am a very ambitious lady who likes challenges. I interact well with people here at work because i am very friend and they like working with me. I am an unforgettable because of my sense of humour. Customers can be challenging sometimes but i have learnt not to take everything into heart

Excellent
Makro is a great company that comes with lots of perks and great salary. In total I worked for Makro for over 13 years broken service. The culture has shifted a bit with times . It has been a great pleasure working for such company. I enjoyed the pressure that came with my daily duties. As a team player I always thrive working with people. I have developed lot of my subordinates to management level and to senior management positions. My passion is to see everyone succeed in the team as I believe that as a leader you are as weak as your weakest link.I don’t get challenged at work but rather opportunity to do things differently and learn in a best possible way. My journey at Makro is been nothing but a great success both personally and and professionally.

Excellent learning opportunities
Makro is one of the best retail company in Southern Africa. It has taught me a lot in the last few years. It is company that perfects itself in the best customer service and opportunities to grow within the company, by providing necessary training through internships and other opportunities.
