Working for Markham�s was great. The team itself was great and we worked great together.
The company itself is great and the team was excellent. The hours was no problem at all. The company just doesn�t provide enough room for growth. You as a employee has the work a few years in order tp grow but that still doesn�t ensure you of any growth.
Pros: Great learning.
Cons: No growth on the company.

Excellent starting point .
Typical work day would entail packing out boxes and hanging clothes up. Helping customers with clothing they need. My co workers weren't really that friendly everything to them was a competition which in our cases it shouldn't have been a competition all the time we suppose to work together and as a team. I learnt that you should always just focus on yourself grind and work hard for yourself. I enjoyed meeting different people everyday. The most challenging thing would be that my co workers never really were co workers

Great work environment
I have learner alot from my position regarding marketing, administration, merchandising, sales and customer Service. What I enjoy the most is the fact that I am able to work with people as I am a people�s person and I enjoy being around people. To be honest the only challenging thing for me is my kindness I feel as if people take advantage of that but I have worked on that issue and am moving in a positive e direction.

Customer service
Am working as a sales assistant and I've learnt so many things regard to my work it is a great company because it makes me feel free with my co-workers and my employees as well, and also i enjoy to be part of the work that is applicable for the job to be done, the most challenge is when i become the last person to assist the customer while other customers denied to help the customer but finally i can make it easy to satisfy the needs of the customer

Good starting point
I really enjoyed working at Markham as I have gained a lot of experience. The Manager was very helpful throughout my years working there. Also I learnt how to communicate with customer as I was working with them most of the time.

I have lean how to respect customers
they told me how to behaved and respond, by working as a team is important .how to respond to a customer when he/she are on the mood and working as a team its help a loots especially when you at the meeting people come with spotenias idea's. especially when you're manager is diminisher like crashing your ideas you can not voice your opinion to be a leader you must be multiplier so that people they can see potential on you by having responsebility building you confidence thank you

Experience in retail filled
Typical work day I hv experienced its was on black Friday when I counter many people in the store which we have to help, and stil have to help at the till so I can atleast push the line not to be to slow.. Also look up for stock on the floor not to be stolen Our relationship with my co-workers have ups and downs as we don't see things the same way but at the end we manage to solve the problem rk as a team I hv learnt to work as a team no matter what Preparing admin and changing medicans Flat p

Huge opportunity for gaining experience.
I normally work 8 hour shifts I open the store or close it sometimes straight shifts depending on the needs of that day. In the morning it is stock count, followed by administration and follow ups on insurance and repairs and than trading and sales driving. I have learnt time management, how to read people, how to best tackle difficult situations and how to best approach and bring business to the company. The most challenging parts of the job are the hours. But the best part is the interaction between me and customers its the one that is most rewarding.
Pros: Where I work there it is easy to gain experience as you do alot more than merely what your designated position is you have alot of opportunity to gain experience opening doors for you everywhere.

Excellent Customer service
* I don't regret working for this company * I've learnered to handle or deal with customers * Opened my mind to creative ideas regarding customer service * Taught me to be outspoken and have great opportunities into getting to know different customers no matter the diversity of culture. * Fun, healthy environment become a family. * Treat every individual equally no matter the diversity of culture or age. * I enjoyed add on sale convincing customers to buy more, helping a customer to find their style. * Challenges where to reach the target for the day

Am a fast learner, iv got experience in retail n banking industry,
Am faster learner ,team player, can work under pressure, open minded, got good interpersonal skillsi I can work we'll with others, don't mind putting extra hours to achieve company goals,
